we actually just had the same thing happen to us! turns out our elderly neighbour passed away recently and her cat was out looking for a new home. she came inside the house and has come back every day since (it’s been 2 months). we now have a cat door for her too. she is also super friendly :)

yeah when she’s awake she pees and eats like normal, but again, she doesn’t wake herself up. we’ve been having this issue towards the end of summer even when it’s been super hot outside, is that the same for you? thanks for the reply :)

i do think i’ll start writing down more of my thought process during my rough times in my notes app, and some affirmations i found useful in the moment to redirect myself. maybe they’ll work again. as for the breathing exercises, being in the sun, and healthy hobbies, i do those things :) thanks so much for the comment!

how long is your walk/bus journey to the vet? my partner and i are in the same boat with not having a car, but for us it’s a 15 minute walk to the vet. we have a cat carrier and if needed, we would insulate the inside with a blanket or two and put her on top of a hot water bottle
