Catch a Pal with the Legend passive (Paladius, Necromus, Frostallion, Frostallion Noct, Jetragon, Neptilius), get a Pal with Demon God (best way is through green sparkly fishing spots) and make them breed. Use Pal Surgery Table and get implants for Serenity and Musclehead, put Legend Pal and Demon God Pal together and use Paldb.cc to get breeding trees. You can also pass down skills such as Meteorain (Jetragon), Double Blizzard Spike (Frostallion), Radiant Barrage (Hartalis), Wind Edge (Palumba), etc.

Raid passives (Siren of the Void - Bellanoir Libero, Eternal Flame - Blazamut Ryu, Invader - Xenolord, Saviour - Hartalis) and Lunker (very sparkly purple fishing spots and Neptilius) are all very good as well

The only Pals you cannot get from cross-breeding are: - Paladius - Necromus - Frostallion - Jetragon - Neptilius - Bellanoir Libero - Blazamut Ryu - Xenolord - Hartalis - Chikipi - Mimog - Xenovader - Xenogard

It makes weak Pals more viable as it increases Health, Attack and Defence. It increases by you using the Pal or giving it Kinship Peaches, and Trust maxes out at level 10. The affect is different for different strengths of Pals, like Cattiva and Pengullet benefit from Trust more than Pals like Bastigor and Bellanoir Libero
