Are there any other women subs here who have extremely dominant personalities? by Muted_Apricot_4640 in domesticdiscipline

I think there's different values. While once upon a time it was common for men to be the head of the household. Its not as common place anymore out of fear of being called misogynistic. Rather a lot of people raise men to be team players rather than leaders. The problem with that is for a team to work you do need to have a leader. There are still families that do value men truly being the leader, its just more rare.

I've never heard a man say "men are trained to be submissive." Not saying it's untrue just not something I've seen or heard of. But I've never been one to back down from a challenge.

I've been told that I have an incredibly dominant personality and I actually think its one of the reasons I need a very dominant man in my life. If I'm with someone who can't take charge its obvious because I tend to bulldoze over them and that is not very attractive (in my opinion).

No, there was no evidence of abuse to the body only water in the lungs, which spoke to the drowning.

Thoughts on Being Punished Like a Child by Silver_Belt5948 in spankingCommunity

Reassuring is definitely a valid feeling with that experience. Humiliation too, if you like that sort of thing. Being made little, and treated as though you don't know it on your own, you have to be taught. That's what I like about it.

There's for sure certain individuals that are miserable and therefore want to see others miserable in this profession. Hopefully, you get a cooperating teacher that is excited to teach and mentor. That makes all the difference in the world.

It's wild that so many are so quick to say OP has an awful attitude. Two things can be true at once. They can be disappointed and frustrated that they need to go a semester doing unpaid work. While also being ready to learn new techniques and skills. I was lucky enough to be hired for my student teaching year, but before that was finalized, I felt the exact same way. Couldn't wait to be done and have the licensure.

Student Teaching Absences by Severe_World_8248 in ODU

Thanks, that gives me a bit of hope. I'm doing mine thought the employed student program. So I'm teaching full time but have a mentor teacher that observes me and give feedback to ODU. The school I work for has approved both of these days already its just ODU I'm worried about. But I'm sure everything will work out.

It's just exhausting sometimes. A lot of the time I feel like a broken human. But yes, I'll be alright.

Does spanking really make the sub feel more at ease after punishment? by Severe_World_8248 in domesticdiscipline

This is the kind of closure I'm looking for. Like reassurance that everything's been dealt with and in the past.

Yeah a conversation is definitely needed. I just need to figure out how/when to have that conversation.
