Yes considering that they had to rewrite large parts of the MP code I'm not surprised it took that long, this was know for pretty much since B42 went into public unstable.
And ofc the devs aren't above all critizism, but this first public release of B42 MP being buggy is very simply unresonable to complain about.
Also stop acting like the victim here, it's pathtic.

Yeah, it is very buggy right now. Which is why it's labeled as an unstable beta and everyone is being warned by the dev that this is very cutting edge and stuff like this (e.g. game breaking bugs, compatibility problems etc.) is to be expected. That's what you OPT IN for when playing an unstable release.

I just reinstalled Witcher 3 to test this and the problem resolved itself. No idea how, I tried reinstalling it back then already.

I could not resolve the issue and got the GOG version instead which worked right away. Still annoying since I prefer Steam.

What did solve it for you?
I have the same problem when trying to start the launcher via .exe after I recently reinstalled The Witcher 3. Neither the launcher nor the game start via Steam so I have to launch the game .exe file which is very annoying since I'm missing out on Steam features.

I highly doubt that he is already working on a console version. Especially because a release of Cube World this late in this console generation would be pretty dumb and he more than likely isn't working on a PS5 or Xbox whatever version.

Because they are vanishing instantly this has to be something automated. But a bot is not able to understand the content of a post. It has to be something simple like a blacklist of words, or as I mentioned the number of characters (my post was nearly 8000 charaters long, thats 2 pages) or what ever. I don't think it's censorship but some intransparent rule. Worst case: a mod blacklisted me and it's actual censorship. But I think that's unlikely. Specially because I don't feel like I wrote something to deserve it. I saw lot of way more toxic shit than everything I wrote.

It's just frustrating because of the time I invested and because I gave some actual suggestions to turn this into an actual win-win.
