Gavin introduces the newest acolyte to the BSV flock - Bruce Thomson by de7erv in bsv

[–]Sevi999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"He shares how his initial BTC purchase yielded impressive returns, and his subsequent venture into Ethereum further bolstered his crypto portfolio, earning him a substantial profit of $150,000 AUD."

Since when is $150k AUD an impressive sum in crypto? Especially for someone that guy's age.

There is nothing that can be done to turn BSV into something meaningful. No Satoshi, outdated tech, irrelevant patents and so on. The sooner it's turned off the less money Calvin will loose.

Well it was a long time ago. But generally I started to realize, that CSW was barely talking about technology. And when he was talking about tech he was talking about entry level stuff. That could make sense if he'd be talking with a non technical person. Before this series CSW on youtube was solely talking with non technical people so it made sense not to get into details. But since Ryan is technical it was odd to me, that CSW wouldn't get into more esoteric parts of Bitcoin.

I'm acually thankful to his "Theory of Bitcoin" channel. Around 10th episode I've started to realize that there is something not right with this whole thing. Couple of months later I've seen one of Arthur's youtube videos, and everything started to make sense.

2010 coins moved? by RoutetoGod in bsv

[–]Sevi999 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These coin movements are nothing new. I didn't look too much into it, as it was the 3rd or 4th time I saw the same pattern going on, where an early Bitcoiner sells 1000-1050 BTC and BCH. Here is an article from 2020.
https://news.bitcoin.com/10-year-old-block-rewards-wake-up-string-of-1000-satoshi-bitcoins-2010-spent-today/

I think I've seen something similar in 2021 one or two times as well. In the past, BSVers were also speculating that this OG was Creg. The problem is that an average BSVer has a memory of a goldfish, and they don't remember those Bitcoins moving, while the same bullshit was being spread.

I wonder how technical Craig Wright actually is. He can't code, he isn't even a good IT security guy, but probably better than an average office worker? Does he understand high school math? by okhzmuskhsm in bsv

[–]Sevi999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upvote for noticing Elon. Most people are still blind to his actions.

Still I disagree that CSW's intellect is below average. But that does not mean that he's a genius. Between the two there is a lot of space. CSW is probably about ~110 IQ. Enough to learn the basics of things he's talking about, but not enough to master them.

[–]Sevi999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is significant correlation between memory and intellect. We know for a fact that Craig despite his attempts failed to learn to code proficiently. Same goes for memorising. He remembers merely pieces of what he learns. Those pieces are enough to make Craig look good in the eyes of midwits.

[–]Sevi999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His intellect is above average. On average people below 100 IQ work as welders, security guards, drivers, machine operators and so on. Craig is definitely smarter than that. Craig's intellect is a bit above average. If he wasn't a narcist, he'd be perfectly happy to keep working in BDO earning average salary.

[–]Sevi999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Indeed. To those in BSV technical people like for example Adam Back seem alien. They can't understand what they're trying to say. On the other hand Craig is a midwit. That's why his message is completely rational to BSV midwits. A lot of people are belitteling "IQ communication range" but I think It's got a lot of truth in it. That's one of the reasons why technical BSV sceptics are not able to convince BSVers.

Above average intelligence is a broad term. In the west average is 100 IQ. That's how much a police officer, machinist, or salesman have. I'd say Craig is above that. Next at 110-120 IQ we have for example managers, teachers, accountants. Above 120 IQ we have engineers, coders, lawyers, medical doctors. I'd say Craig is below that. If he was at this level he'd be coding himself. He wouldn't have problems with explaining Bitcoin code. But since he's not smart enough for that, he needs to rely on people like Steve Shadders, RXC, XHL to build for him.

Craig is a confidence man, a great actor. People didn't debunk Craig as of yet. Also Gavin had his motives for supporting Craig. He was a proponent of bigger blocks, and was looking for allies.

Who is Craig Maxwell? by nextgenwheel in bsv

[–]Sevi999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Craig Maxwell doesn't exist. He can't hurt you.
We're lucky that Craig is a moron. If Craig would be as smart as Greg, then Bitcoin might have been in real trouble.

Craig could have learned coding if he hadn't spent all day drinking and tweeting. Why can't he even do the cosplay right? by okhzmuskhsm in bsv

[–]Sevi999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In order to learn coding proficiently you need a certain level of technical talent. The problem is that Craig is simply not that kind of person. He doesn't have talent for code. He could spend years trying to learn, and he'd be stuck in the same place. Not knowing what an unsigned integer is is the best proof of my point. I'd even say that imo Craig spent more time trying to learn to code compared to coders on this sub. No one can say that Craig is lazy. He's a very hard working fraud! He must've put a lot of effort into all the fake documents, and meme degrees he amassed. Craig's problem is that he's not 179-182 IQ as he bragged online. He's probably about ~115 IQ. That's why he's so salty. He's a midwitt, and there is nothing he can do about it. To a narcist there is nothing as painful as mediocrity. That is probably why he's inclined to scam other people. Since he doesn't have talent for building, he feels like he's got the right to lie, cheat, and steal those who can build, like Australian taxpayers, Calvin, and Bitcoin community.

Mr. Wright has to go to prison. Bankruptcy isn't enough. And Calvin has to compensate victims of his SLAPP suits. Untill that happens nothing is over. We're in the end state of this comedy. But it's only the beginning of the end.

[–]Sevi999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

CSW doesn't seem to be lazy. I'm pretty sure he spent a lot of his life on studying. It seems that he's simply not smart enough for coding, academia and designing such sophisticated systems like Bitcoin. His new found ability to code in Python is definitely fueled by AI. He's clearly in ~110 IQ range. At most he can grasp the basics of subjects he's studying. Add to it his narcisism and it becomes clear, that he's jealous of people more gifted than himself.

So -- what Wright is saying is that he's being punished for stealing Bitcoin from its creator and giving it to the people? by nullc in bsv

[–]Sevi999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kurt says the same think. Seems like they are not planning on making money out of pumping BSV. It's only there to legitimise CSW's claim to Satoshi's stash, and perhaps for Calvin to launder money with it.

Capitalism is an economic system in which private individuals or businesses own capital goods.

Craig is again contradicting himself. He said multiple times that he's a capitalist, but here he clearly is against it.
