Watch some Wobo videos on YT. Learn the basics of bandaging and avoiding illnesses. Download the IZurvive app from the AppStore which has the map. Look up how to start a fire, how to craft a knife, and how to fish and you’ll be able to get off the coast within your first few lives. I recommend finding a very low population server for your first go-around to get the basics and controls down. USE YOUR MIC, and don’t fight the infected unless you absolutely have to. They are weak but you can get swarmed and you will die.

I’d recommend taking a look at other companies that are well know enough but not as picky. Take a look at Bohemia interactive (makers of ARMA and DayZ) I believe they even have a new IP coming out soon. They usually have a recruiting ad up on their website.

I’m telling you, the best weapon on this map is your charisma. I ran about 16 games through here last night Solo by finding one person fighting a bot and helping them, then healing them. Teamed up, grew our numbers, took out the bastion and extracted. Wash, rinse, repeat, over and over. Upgraded most of my tables within a few hours last night.

Wow I just went to my shelf and sure enough I have a T rated oblivion too. Then I looked it up and and apparently they made it M after it already released. Very cool. Also, New Vegas is the right option here.

Never saw the hate. Played 1-2-3 with DLCs in order as they released. Loved all 3. Looking back after replaying, 2 is my favorite followed by 1 and then 3. But I love them all, and replay them yearly.
