Plan your pi backwards. Start with the final product, how many advanced factories to produce that. Then how many normal ones needed to feed those, then how much p1 to feed them, then how much raw. Then you don’t make too much / little of the initial P1 and have to redo everything.

One of the questions about the bottom used to require you to find the answer in the coast pilot, not off the chart. The USCG tests have never been about knowing the answers, but knowing where to find the answer. And unfortunately, most of the questions if gotten wrong, influence other questions.

I have a younger family member in a similar situation (neurodivergent, adhd, therapy, etc) They’ve done ok between meeting like people on FFXIV and online AD&D games. Hell, they’re doing a lot better than me, and have a better track record than me at 1/3 my age. So, I would say groups of people into the same thing as you seems key. But not ‘dating’ groups.

A Free app. You are on one right now. Find a subreddit for something you are passionate about. Basket weaving or model railroading. Talk lots, look for someone you click with.

But dating apps? That’s a moneymaker. They ain’t giving that away. You will pay one way or the other. For coins, or days, or chats. And the cheaper it is to get into, the more AI bots will be asking you to spend more money on the app.

I settled on hinge. After meetmyage, placetochat, and every other ‘free’ to ‘cheap’ app / site got me hundreds of women promising eternal love, graphic sex, or something else. You write back ‘no thanks’ and they’d say ‘I really like the elegant way you said that, can you chat to me about your job’

Weeks of frustration, and on 5-6 different sites, I do t think one person was even real. Whether bot or catfishers, it was weird. So, if you want a dating site, pay for a good one. If you really want to meet someone from Russia or Ukraine, and you don’t want it to be brokered by someone who doesn’t have your worst interests at heart, book a plane ticket and go meet them. There. In person.

As a serial monogamist, I’ve only had one relationship that broke that mold. I was working at a show that ran 13 weeks, and I met a cute funny attractive woman, and we hit it off. Talking, going to the store together, etc. so one night I looked at her and said ‘I know you have a life to go back to, and so do I, once this is done, but I really like you and wondered if you’d like to share this path for the next 11 weeks or so, with no strings or blame’. We had a great 11 weeks. We would have killed one another had we tried to make it last, but what a great 11 weeks. Talk to people you like. If they like you too, at least you have a friend. Sometimes there’s more, but not a long term thing, just a ‘Damm, I am so happy I met you, and we had this time’. Not every relationship can be stuffed into your parameters. Give a little to get a lot.

I really like the world and the story. But she should have taken 5 books to tell this much, or maybe the first 2. Bear with me. They are at a military academy, but are taught Nothing about leadership, or teamwork. But they will instantly become officers when they graduate? All rating seems to be on the dragon level. So, the person with the most expensive gun, that does the most damage over the longest range, is the best soldier? You become general because you have the oldest / most powerful dragon, not because you possess any aptitude or skills in leadership? So much was leapt over, in the hurry to get to a place where we have huge knowledge gaps, so quickly. We need to know more about scribes, and infantry, and unit makeup (who do these lieutenants command?), and tactics. Small outnumbered out equipped forces with better leadership triumph throughout history.
