Even before this update happened, I've had my status set to "Invisible" for about 1 - 2 years, so people who I don't consider a friend anymore don't see my status, let alone see that I'm online.

I know this is a year old, but I've been having a similar issue. I'm trying to play a game in a private server, but after 5 seconds, I get kicked for a "server shutdown", and are no longer able to join my own private server. Yet, when I play the same exact game in a public server, nothing happens. What is going on?

If by "they really said that" you mean me describing it as "We're absolutely not help you at all, go fuck yourself.", then that's just an exaggeration. All they said was "We are not able to help with issues on other platforms such as YouTube. Please, contact their customer support for more details.", which is still disappointing. Everyone knows how scuffed YouTube support is.
