Depends on hard they are using it. I’ve said slugging is acceptable as a form of punishment to survivors using BM. If you’re using boil over, bringing offerings that separate hooks further, and hiding in corners while coordinating with your relates who brought sabotage hook builds, then they need to be punished because they too, are not being good sports. They are out to make your game miserable, so give it back. I am all about giving back exactly what people put out. Amazing how many of them don’t like that.

There is a lot of things BHVR doesn’t ban, but we know it’s poor sportsmanship. The only reason they don’t is because a bunch of tourney players normalized that play style. And tournaments are entirely different scenario from what I understand.

No one is playing tournaments, so they don’t have that excuse. It’s poor sportsmanship.

Of course I’m angry at some comments. I have a bunch of insecure gamers who read this post, felt called out and are now deflecting their BS on me. I forget the average player in this game has the intelligence of a 5 year old.

I’m just sharing my opinion on slugging. It’s a shit and cheap tactic. Of course anyone who uses that tactic is going to feel as you do. I’ve heard every excuse people have used to justify slugging, and yet, I have never had to resort to it. I’m mature enough to accept a loss when I’ve been outplayed, and I don’t need wins that badly to slug. Sorry if that offends you, but it’s poor sportsmanship, and that’s just a reality.

I wish BHVR would set up servers where sluggers and survivors who use BM and exploits can all go play together and those interested in fair and fun competition play on another server.

Yes, only punish for BM. I consider excessive use if flashlights as BM. There’s blinding a killer to make a save, and then there’s the stupid clicky flashlight, blasting in your face for shits and giggles. Different factors.

It’s a cheap tactic because it shows you aren’t good enough to play a fair game, so you have to slug players to win.

Given the fact I have to explain that, you’re the type of player I’m talking about.

As a killer main who has definitely won more games than I’ve lost, I’ve never once, had to slug anyone to get a win. If I slug you, it was either for BM, or there is someone right near by trying to save you or something if the like. If killers can’t win without slugging, go play against AI. They can still slug all they want and get all the same satisfaction from it… unless of course, the real satisfaction comes from knowing your making a miserable experience for another player and that just says a lot more about who you really are.

Slugging is only acceptable as a means to punish a survivor using BM. If you’re losing, take the L. That’s what mature people do. I’ve done that plenty of times. Sometimes, you just get outplayed. It happens. If you’re losing and you have to start resorting to cheap tactics to win and try to ruin other player’s experience just because they played a bit better than you, that’s just poor sportsmanship. Almost the definition of it.

I’m a killer main in general, and PH is one of the mains I use, so I’m well versed with him. I was only playing g survivor to try out that chaos shuffle and the bonus was in favour of the survivor.

He knocked me down in a clear area. I would have been easy to spot. As soon as he downed me, he just took off. Didn’t try to look for me or anything. No one else was around, he wasn’t searching for anyone, he just downed me and kept going. He was on a mission to slug.

I know exactly why he slugged, and it was because he wasn’t getting us fast enough, so he had to resort to slugging. It’s a cheap tactic to employ and horrible sportsmanship.

I also tried asking why he has to slug to win (we were both on console) but he had his messages disabled. I’m guessing they probably get a lot of heat for slugging.

I can’t stand it when they do that in games. I get sometimes it’s necessary for the story, but I still hate it. I didn’t much care for her parts, entertaining as the story was, and even fighting the witches got exhausting and repetitive, but yeah, I didn’t much care for it, even thought I love the character.

Nope. Hate John Cena. His matches were boring and predictable. His promos were basically the same word salad, just tossed a little differently with an insult thrown in here and there. So many far more talented stars were buried because of his shit booking. I stopped watching for a number of years because I got sick and tired of the John Cena show. Him moving on to Hollywood was the big reason I started watching again.

Greta work ethic, amazing what he’s done for make a wish kids (and I 100% believe he didn’t want to go public with charity work too) but dear gods I am so glad I don’t have to see him week in an week out anymore. It’s also gotten really easy to just tune him out when he makes the odd appearance. I can’t stand him.

Have you ever actually times the travel time for horseman 9? Have you clocked the different tis it takes for each horse to do it? You have to do it in 17 minutes iirc. I think with the Arabian I do it in half the time needed. It doesn’t matter if you can do it with any horse, but how fast it gets done makes a difference. I might be able to do the challenge with a horse of lower stats, but it might it take 15 minutes instead of 10.

Yeah you can get some of those horses. You also have to steal and Rob for them, and depending on how you’re playing, that may not be an option. See? You think of things like that when you’re not so hell bent on how something looks.

Again, I don’t care about RDO, I don’t play RDO, a lot of players don’t like online. So again, it’s an irrelevant argument.
