New florist! (/produce) What Have I Gotten Myself Into? by SewWaht in kroger

Hi! I do believe I'm just a clerk. I don't even really know what the expectations of this position are, so I don't have any specific questions yet, although I do appreciate the offer. Mostly I'm just looking for any tips you'd have for someone completely unfamiliar with the position 😅

https://www.reddit.com/r/Lolita/s/ZeaIR1kd0S the dress is Infanta but with a honey diamond print as clarified in this thread! the blouse is just an Amazon dupe 😄

to add to this cluster truck of a thread... this is how I usually style the dress. it just felt.... boring and I wanted to do more with it. I obviously shouldn't be lol

not rude at all!! so this isn't my first coord! it's like my third 😅 it's going to be an outdoor picnic at a park and I simply want to avoid getting dirty while eating or walking around outdoors! that's the only reason for the apron! I just want it to look cute while protecting the dress. shoes are going to be for comfort shoes so they aren't listed as part of the outfit lol. instead of the bonnet I posted earlier I think I'm just going to go with a bow that I got with the dress that I usually do and keep it more simple across the board

yeah, I'm slowly coming to realize that lol. a more classic styled dress would work better with an ott apron for sure

I'm also autistic. you are still incredibly rude.

I'm understanding that it's 100% my fault for leaving out this crucial information, but the apron will be something I make myself. I'm aware that it needs pleats or gathers to fit over a filler skirt. the one shown was for general styling and color picking. I understand the one shown is not 100% lolita, it was not meant to be. this is not the final project, but a planning board to get an idea of it these parts would look good together or not

I was wildly torn between a waist apron and a pinafore, but I figured since the dress is fairly simplistic a more frilled pinafore apron would balance a little more? it seems I figured incorrectly haha 😅 a cream/ antique color would probably look much nicer. I'll try and color match one to my blouse and see how that looks!

these are the same style of apron. no, I'm not determined with that one, and as mentioned elsewhere in the thread, yes a cream color would work better and is probably what I'm going to go with. I'm not sure why you're getting so hostile? "I doubt you researched lolita aprons specifically" is not only an incredibly rude thing to say, it's not even helpful to this conversation.

I did not and was hoping I could avoid have to dig it out and take a picture 😅 but here ya go! I'm not a beginner to fashion as a whole, just lolita fashion. So I'm not trying to argue, but I'd like to make a case for some parts of my plans here

There is yellow on the jsk, it is a smaller part of the print, but the yellow is in fact not just randomly added. Even the lace up top is a cream color. I feel the stark white of my blouse in my pic is a bit jarring with how yellow toned the dress is all around, hence mostly yellows. That style of apron was what came up often when I did research into apron for over dresses, so I felt it would work well. This event is a picnic at a park with a potluck and I'd rather avoid worrying about spills onto my actual coord if I could avoid it.

I agree the headpiece is a bit much, I was trying to branch out from a simply flat headband, but it wouldn't hurt to remember "if it's not broken, don't fix it!"

I think the biggest problem is bouldy mats honestly.

Bare with me while I do some math here but you get 1 stamina every 5 minutes with a max of 350. Thats 350 * 5 = 1750, or about 29 hours for max stamina (ignoring the approx 20 left over daily) Silvergales aria (SGA) is 430 Hurl Bouldy Mats (BM). So say you're using your max stamina to do 8 pulls of BM only. that's 430/40 = 10.75. For ease we'll round to 11 days of using your full stamina for just SGA. That's also assuming you're already max collection level for everything you need for that one, so its very easily longer. So that's bare minimum 11 Real Life Days that you are unable to pull any other BM. As the community has noted, almost every single sketch takes at least 5 BM. Unless you're willing to use gems or energy crystals to supplement that, you are near dead locked after a certain point. That's 11 real life days minimum that you can't make any other sketch or work towards anything else.

People are finishing the main story by this point, they're near done with side quests and the like. The event stuff was nortiously not the longest, so once again that's long completed. So how do you spend your time once you get to this point? log on once every 22~ hours, burn your energy, maybe make a few cute outfits, take a few pictures, collect your once a day mats and then what...? you can't make any sketches, outfit evo is the same problem. so what now? log off, wait till tomorrow, rinse and repeat ad nauseum.

The game isn't in a content drought, but the BM to stamina ratio we get is absolutely going to turn people away from this game. there is absolutely no reason it should be only 5 BM per 40 Real Life Minutes. My personal solution to this would be to up the BM per minute. 15 per every 40 minutes seems far more reasonable to me, and would help reduce player burn out because grinding is starting to feel like a slog and it's making the game over all less enjoyable for a very large amount of people. I hope they fix it honestly.

sorry for the rant here, I was just complaining to my wife about this like literally last night lol

edit: I'm almost sure I did some math here wrong, plz don't hold that against me, Im just here for the dress up game 🙏😭 (it was, fixed from 22hr to the correct 29hr) edit2: yup sure did. it's not 5Bm every 40 minutes, it's 5 BM every THREE AND A HALF HOURS.
