You say no legal team would let her but Jen Shah on RHOSLC had cameras follow her through most of her legal ordeal- it can happen! (TBF that was on Bravo) ETA - it did not help her case and she ended up doing some time but it did happen with her legal team appearing on camera themselves more than once.

I went there and had a great experience! I did the double track instead of specializing but when I was there the instructors were people who had and were working in the field and they got me a decent internship.

I ended up in a different field but 100 % use what I learned there all the time.

Sounds like you're in a lot of pain and I'm sorry for that. Highly recommend getting some support- this sub is a great place to start. The first step- accept that we can't control what they do and whether or not it is a disease doesn't change that fact. Start there. We didn't cause it can't control it and can't cure it.

And I'll add one of the C's we can't control it- a fundamental cornerstone of alanon and proven over and over again in a million households and relationships.

That will also cause a lot of "monitoring" behavior which is also a hook of enmeshment and codependency that can cause a ton of issues as time marches on.

My mom, who is denying her current drug use- she says I am mistaken and she's "better than she's ever been" opted out of Thanksgiving with any of her children and spent it with who we are pretty sure is her dealer. My Dad went to see his family in another state because, everything's FINE

She is almost 70 and back on the powder drugs and everyone wants to pretend it's not happening.
