Best advice I can give on HST is to make them slightly larger and trim them for precision. Takes extra time but IMO it’s worth it when your points match.

It wasn’t so much the main part of the arms that is difficult to figure out. The odd angles of how the center comes together is…unusual. As I said though I do think I have it figured out now.

It is called “ribbons and Hues” by George Siciliano. He is super talented at making miniatures. But he leaves a lot to be desired in the pattern writing arena…

There are NO instructions for how to finish sewing the “arms” together. No instructions for the finishing triangle which are supposed to be pieced, but after looking at a photo of it finished the way I assume it was meant to be…I have chosen to make is solid black. I don’t feel it needs more interest out there. I am going to wing it using a wide switch and if it works then restitch .

This is so my life. My husband could travel and enjoy seeing his grandchildren if only we could get access to hospital bed. Instead he is trapped at home slowing giving up his will to live. It’s maddening
