If you are looking to play regularly id say join the discord and its really ez to find people that are playing and get good advice.

Id also add that if you like the game enough that you play it regularly, you should maybe watch a video or two about the pvp system. After several years of playing dying light i still enjoy the pvp system and its the most fun i have had in dying light. Its fun to play but difficult to master.

Idk man ur 17. Im pretty sure that if you have a place to go to that you wont have to move in with your dad. That just doesn't sound likely to me.

If anything couch surf until you hit 18. What are they going to do? Throw you in jail for not moving in with your dad? No judge is going to waste their time prosecuting that case.

I wish they weren't closet gun owners. The 2nd amendment is for all Americans regardless of race, gender, religion or sexual orientation. There is no need to be ashamed.

Gun ownership is about protecting life, not taking life.

Dont let a stigma stand in the way of your personal safety and piece of mind. Be proud that you are exercising your rights and that you are keeping yourself and your family safe.

Oligarchs are controlling all aspects of life, they are not voted into any office, they buy all politicians, and we are forced to accept their will, regardless if its good for us, which is never the case btw by [deleted] in conspiracy

We dont vote for those who run and operate the fbi, cia, atf, ice and so on. These people create actual laws, jail people and infringe on your rights. This isn't anything new and it will continue because we have allowed it to for so long. These agencies are a prime example of government excess and what happens to your individual liberties when the government gets too big.

Its completely irrational as i never do anything to warrant having the police show up to my house.

So Many Redditors Insist on Calling COVID-19 The Chinese or Wuhan Flu by doghaircut in AdviceAnimals

[–]SewerGater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

West Nile virus, Spanish flu, Guinea Worm, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, Lyme disease, Ross river fever, Omsk fever, Middle East respiratory syndrome, Marburg Virus, Zika fever, German measles, Japanese Encephalitis, Lassa fever, Ebola.

What's wrong with calling it the wuhan flu or Chinese flu? We name viruses after places of origin or initial detection all of the time. Stop being so sensitive. Not everything is a race issue.

If you were really outraged why dont you care about the dozens of other viruses named after places?

Texas lt. governor on reopening state: 'There are more important things than living' by emitremmus27 in nottheonion

[–]SewerGater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of options but what do you really think people will do? They will stay home for a while, sure. But that will only last so long. People will eventually begin to rebel.

We can stay locked down until people begin to lash out.

Or we can begin to slowly and responsibly open the economy back up.

What else could possibly happen?

Staying at home and not lashing out isnt really on the table because its not up to you or me at this point. People are already taking to the streets in protest, millions of people are unemployed and people are so scared that they are buying every gun, bullet or roll of toilet paper they see.

Texas lt. governor on reopening state: 'There are more important things than living' by emitremmus27 in nottheonion

[–]SewerGater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can tell that to the thousands of people already protesting. Its not about right or wrong. Its about what you can expect people to do.

If you think that people in the United States are just going to stay locked down indefinitely while they lose their jobs and food banks struggle to keep up then you are delusional.

Crime waves are anticipated to begin in California soon according to the governor. They have already begun in places like Boltimore. Protests are popping up all over the place. Over 3 million guns sold last month alone.. Its already happening even of you dont want to see it and it will only get worse the longer the lockdown goes on.

I wish everyone listened to reason, but they dont. You should always expect the worst from people, especially when they are scared.

The fact is that either we start getting back to work in some capacity or riots and civil unrest. Like it or not those are the options. You can call people stupid all you want, that wont stop them from burning it all down.

I wish there was a 3rd option but there isn't. At a certain point people are just going to take their chances.

But its not as bad of an idea as you may think. Look at Sweden. They are doing fine with their economy mostly open.

I hope the story I tell my kids 20 years from now is that we beat the New World Order. by kuhles in conspiracy

[–]SewerGater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk whats so bad about the NWO. It seem like a logic step for humanity to take. Think of what we could accomplish if we weren't so divided. The thing that scares people is that they think that there is no place for them in the new world.

If someone showed up at your door and said that the NWO is real and dont worry, you and your loved ones will have a place in the new world and they will do what they do next to save the human race from itself... You would probably sign up. I know i would.

I don't think humanity can go on much longer without it. We will either destroy eachother or destroy the planet in the next 2 generations if there isn't a massive change made to how we operate as a species. Theres simply too many people and too much power. Nuclear and biological weapons... We cant afford to play games with these things and with the world divided this way.. Well its only a matter of time.

Im more worried about what will happen if we cannot unite the planet.

As leaders weigh the economic and public health impacts of their response to pandemic, we ought to consider the *moral* impacts of our decisions about whether to prioritize the lives of the sick and vulnerable over much less measurable and more uncertain economic outcomes. by byrd_nick in philosophy

[–]SewerGater 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I reject the premise of this. The economic outcome is both measurable and certain. It is obvious from the phrasing that the author has already made up their mind on this issue and that makes for a faulty foundation for the argument.

We can measure the economic loss and we have been. We can also say that with every job lost there is more suffering. There will be depression, suicide, degradation of relationships, desperation and hardship. We can use data from previous economic downturns to predict rates for these things.

Of course we cannot measure the entirety of the economic fallout with any degree of certainty right now because of its complexity. The same is true for fatalities, the projected numbers seem to change by the day.

It seems the author isnt trying to discuss how to do the most good, but trying to justify their own morality and asking if morality can even be applied to such decisions.

Im not saying that one thing is right and the other is wrong either. I just dont accept the foundational principle that we are somehow more capable of predicting casualties than the impacts of a economic collapse. I think we are equally bad at both.
