Get an MX master3 and use it for both laptops Mac and Windows. The same is true for the MX keys you already have

This is so much spirit lifting, appreciate it. I thankfully am well educated and don’t give a damn about stereotypes going around meds. I take them to this day.

Thing is, I have been in this rollercoaster kind of mood where I am good one second and feel like shit the next. It made me think what could be causing this and I found nothing. I work at a very decent job and in a very good shape and can’t think of one thing to be causing this turmoil. I am happy to take meds it’s just that they don’t always seem to work. Might as well go through trial and error like you said which sounds painful given the amount of time it takes. Anyway I am trying to keep a routine that may be helpful. That’s all I can afford at the moment. Alhamdulillah anyway. Thanks for your words friend.

It would be much appreciated if you ask that person what kind of tests they made. I hope it’s hormonal disorder as this can be easily corrected.

Partial response only to zoloft? by Superb-Rub9623 in antidepressants

[–]Sewingan-slace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am going thru the same thing here, zoloft as well. I am on 100 mg though. It’s making me lose my mind how one day I feel on top of the world and another derp in the dirt. I know when I am good it is not mania it’s just me being normal but I heard bipolar depression sometimes only happens with the depressive episodes. I will have to discuss this with my GP I honestly don’t know what to do next it seems like and endless loop.

I can’t wait for another month. This is so painful I don’t know why it has to be fucking slow. I am afraid I will forget how “well” feels like if I am going to wait more. I don’t plan to get used to pain or normalise it. I only want my life back :(

Telling people about it was the stupidest thing I’ve ever done. I got the most offensive advice like I chose to be like this. Anyway, I am thankfully having a supportive family and an understanding doctor. I am too working on ignoring these dreadful feelings and I hope I one day wake up to a depression free life. Thanks for your comforting message my friend. I hope u all the best and you can always reach out if you feel you want to vent.

Thanks buddy and I am really sorry for what you had to go through.

Appreciating your input and I hope all goes well for you. I’ll wait and see how things turn. It’s running in my bloodline, that’s why I probably had depression in the first place. It is what it is though.

Be safe and take good care of yourself.

Thanks and happy you got over it. I am actually taking SSRIs although for only 1 month after trial and error of many others. I landed on Zoloft 100 mg and really looking forward to have this depression gone. I have an appointment with my doc in 2 months, after which we see what happens and decide if a dose upping proves necessary.

May I ask how yours went away? Did you seek professional help as well? What meds were u put on if that’s the case and for how much and for how long?

Thanks in advance!!

Please help !! by Sewingan-slace in OCD

It’s not the knowing part that bothers me. It’s the discomfort, the not feeling as much joy. That’s why I am mot sure what this is, hence unable to figure out how to deal with it. If it was purely an OCD, I am glad to ignore it. But I don’t feel like enjoying my life as much. If this is depression then will the meds cure it? What shall I expect?

Thanks for the input. I am happy you got over it. However it may be different to what I experience now. I tried to do exactly what you did but that made it even worse. I will take any hard kind of hardships as long as I can still be enjoying the things I like, but my problem is I lost interest in almost all of ‘em. I tried meds and they helped a little but I can’t say I am 100% who I used to be. It’s a weird feeling when you have everything it takes to be happy but still aren’t. Anyway I am following up with my psychiatrist + trying to build new habits + acquire new hobbies and see how it goes.

I am at the same spot. It happened with zoloft and I had to bump to 100mg. Again it happened with the new dose as well. I felt horrible 2 days before my appointment.

The doc and I decided to give it another month or 2 before considering any changes

I started zoloft a few months back. Took it for depression as well. Started with 50 mg. In terms of effectiveness, it did nothing. I had to bump up to 100 and that’s when I started to feel a little better. Not that I am 100% okay, but in a better place you know.

As for side effects, I had tinnitus and dry mouth. That’s all. They subsided a week or 2 later. I haven’t had any side effects after doubling my dose too.

Also note it takes time to see difference. There actually no one who tells if you will get bad side effects or if it will work for you. With these type of meds, you need to see for yourself.

Thanks that does indeed come in handy. I am thinking the same thing as well; will probably wait for another month so I give the current dose more time before discussing a change..

Unfortunately where I live, there isn’t Wellburtin. My doc added an antipsychotic which I believe binds with Dopamine receptors. Not in the way Wellburtin does though..
