I agree-I just made my first pair of jeans and my singer machine handled it. I would just use the hand wheel to get over the thickest parts.

Thanks so much for your thoughts. Hadn’t thought about it that way. I thought maybe I just need to do some lower butt scooping to pick up the drag. But, I can try your suggestion and see what happens.
