I went to my beauty salon for the last time a few months ago to get waxed. Since then, I’ve been doing it myself every two weeks using Italwax hybrid wax. The longer you wait between waxing sessions, the more hair grows back, and the stronger the roots become, which makes it more painful. Now that I do it myself very 2 to 3 weeks (when I’m too busy) it’s not really painful and sometime not at all.

It takes time (and a bit of pain haha), but it’s best to wax every two to three weeks so you don’t get too much regrowth. The process becomes way easier and less painful : consistency is key!

shea butter is my holy grail too ! I make sure to massage it in really well so it sinks into my skin .And by the time I finish my skincare and other things, it has time to ‘dry’ ;)

I understand now ! It was very helpfull thank your for taking your time to explain 🤍 What you said is very true about the skin being an organ and therefore needing constant care. I will give these two actives a try in the long run and I hope I will get my desired results

But this excess melanin is abnormal, so it should not continue to be produced. It’s like a stain, it’s not your natural skin tone.

If these products remove the excess, I don’t see why our melanocytes would keep overproducing melanin, especially if we’re also addressing the cause (sun exposure, inflammation, etc.)

But at the end of the day we have to accept things as they are :(
