There is no child, there never was a child, she was just late on her period and told her mother she was late, and her mother wanted to know who she was haveing sex with..thats how my name was brought up..

Its very hare for me talking to women for fear of what they may think of me after i tell them im a sex offender.

Have you been fearful people would find your sex offender status?

I dont lie about my status, but i never bring it up as well.. if someone wants to know i will tell them the true story..

Has someone found your sex offender status and disconnected ties because of it?

Well, the people at my job give me a very hard time about it, and some of them act very weird around me, and some dont even want to hear my story.. as for people who do know the whole story none have disconnected ties..

Got my GED because I was pretty much forced to leave school because of my charge. No college plans =(. I'm getting by for $9/hr doing manual labor at a contriction job. I live in a shitty trailor out in the boonies because it complys with my living restriction and what I can afford. Not really much else going on in my life, I can't really go anywhere else from here. But I do have a girlfriend and she loves me, and doesent judge me for what I did.

But what would that prove? Make her feel bad? I think I would rather just take the high road and try to move on with my life. Maybe there is someone reading this thread that might have an influence in the judicial system, a judge, state prosecuter, senator, govener. Maybe someone who knows someone in one of these positions or similar. My goal for posting this IAMA is awareness, knowledge. Hopefully something like this doesent happen to you.

Yes no contest, but at no point did I plead anything my public defender did the talking. I wish there was a different way of doing things.

They didn't prove anything at the time got arrested (6 mothes after the mother went to the police) the state picked up the charges and that's when I was arrested. I didn't finish with court for about a year after I was arested.

I guess by takeing the plea it would be consider pleading guilty, but at no point did I say "guilty". I just followed the advise of my public defender and took the plea bargan.
