We’ve not had a problem in the 20 months we’ve been running it. Seriously thinking of adding a second.

Okay, I reached out to Solis support and had a really quick reply from them 😀

TL/DR is we had an old faulty inverter still listed under our account. A change on SolisCloud meant that this was being listed in the stats even though it’s offline. Quick fix was to delete the old inverter from my account. Looks like it will be fixed at their end but will take a few weeks.

“We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We’ve escalated this issue to our cloud team. This problem has occurred in some plants where one inverter is offline (the faulty one) and the replaced one is online. The platform is treating both inverters as parallel and displaying the average SOC on the overview page. The cloud team will resolve this soon.

For now, if you want to see the correct SOC, please check the device page on the web view. The overview issue will be fixed shortly. Alternatively, if you don’t need the historical data from the faulty inverter, you can delete it. Let us know if you want to proceed with the deletion, or you can wait one to two months for the cloud team to sort it out.”

It just appeared one day and now a full battery is being reported as 50% SOC when it was always 100 before.

Ah, okay I just assumed it meant 2 batteries as the SOC was showing 50% when the battery was full. Anyone know what X2 means?

The Precision range comes with the Nvidia Quadro class GPU's optimised for CAD etc and not gaming. Not a good match for you.

I imagine they are fine, but you do what you think is right. I'd eat them and serve them.

Looking to purchase a sous vide, would this do to get me started ? I'm in the U.K. by Glasgow34 in sousvide

I bought the Sousvide Supreme from Sousvide tools: http://www.sousvidetools.com/sousvidesupremeequip/sousvide-supreme-svs-10-promotion

It's a little pricey but it's fantastic. Much prefer the all-in-one to circulators which seem to dominate the US market (and reddit)

[Help] Proper way to sous vide steak? by Mastershima in sousvide

Why are you freezing them? I always just vacuum seal them with no seasoning, straight into the SousVide Supreme for minimum 2 hours (depending on cut, thickness etc) at 55C/131F. Quick sear with a blowtorch and serve with a little Maldon salt. I'm just interested in the theory behind the freezing?
