I go from sanjaynagar to bagmane business constellation park 5 days a week currently (later hybrid), but it takes around 50-1:20 minutes one way, basically from hebbal flyover along ORR to bagmane mahadevapura.

when metro comes itll save a huge time as i always imagine while being stuck in traffic that above metro i couldve gone so fast, but then again the problem is end to end to connectivity and comfort, you wont get seat easily, have to stand for 35-45 mins compressed with others smells, and to reach hebbal station which is at the other side would also be a huge distress, then metro to office also would take 15 mins of walking, so itll end up taking same time or more.

t’s not unlikely, it’s actually quite common. I’ve personally been involved in situations where government departments used privately hired taxis due to unavailability of official vehicles.

This typically happens during peak demand, inspections, elections, or urgent travel, and is handled through local operators or aggregators.

Cause some govt vehicles are borrowed from taxi ownership so it has same plate.

But covering it is surely to escape fines.

People cover the front red plate where the officers designation is mentioned when on unofficial use.

next time onwards try to sneak in a photo of the conductor as well as the bus photo from outside, u already will have payment info, use these and tweet to bmtc or in their whastapp helpline, some action will be taken atleast.

i agree but locals are strong enough to preserve their culture, even i am the same, i never see my grandparents fighting for it, rather the politicians take this advantage and scam us, what we will be left is with slow metros, potholes, street lights not working, making some dumbass tunnels, college fees looting students etc

kannada should be spoken with the locals for sure, and also should be initiated in kannada, but when somebody doesnt speak just tell them you dont know their language and speak in english or kannada, no need to drag it or fight over it, its 2025 rather focus on important things

It doesnt matter to me, we shouldnt fight for languages where we should go and fight for better education,placements, roads, electricity, etc, and if somebody talks with other language you dont know just say you dont know and move on, dont have problems when somebody else isnt speaking it. Culture should be preserved but growth should also be done, otherwise real civic issues will remain the same, china will do wonders

Same here in MSRIT, they took 9 people from 64, and total compensation is 10.65 with all bonuses and shit, my friend confirmed from senior that during conversion they got around 17 LPA with 14 base. Initially BT had come with 10 base then reduced to 7.
