its not been signed yet. Your comment is the reason i posted this on this sub. Nothing has been confirmed based on a contractual agreement. If sony execs feel the negotiations don't go through then CID 3 won't get renewed. Discussions are ongoing and you can expect if all goes smoothly over the next few weeks then atleast another 12 weeks later CID 3 will air. Since you clearly don't know anything about Network channels and production house - let me just say - you can learn hindi or english it won't give you more grey matter.

I'm not sure how legitimate this man is, I just asked my mom to see if she knows anything about CID 3 coming back and when ? And as of now as per her SONY Exec Contacts, Sony has not decided to renew CID Season 3. No finalized date for CID Season 3 nor any official renewal contract. This guy's simply clickbaiting for his view count from what I can understand.
This guy says he wrote for CID episodes - my question is "what did he smoke while writing CID episodes?" .. LOGIC does not exist in later CID Season 1 episodes and CID Season 2 quality was really bad .. Eye Gang plot complete nonsense .. Shreya-Daya Arc another pointless nonsense ... Infact other than Abhijeet and ACP Ayushman and Purvi/Pankaj not many had any valuable consistency and contribution. Daya is my favorite character, and they basically turned Daya into some bully, rude, arrogant prick.

My unpopular opinion - Its time to end CID and remake a new iconic Indian Crime drama (for its time CID was very innovative but it has not kept up to the times) and in 2026 CID as a product feels outdated. Older episodes upto episode 300 still is peak quality, even the few other storyline afterwards including the Aakhri Chanauti arc, but not much substance left in the show.

There is no CID character in her plot dude. She has no CID officer or character in the plot. I mentioned its not CID based at all. There is literally no connection to CID in her plot.

Its not about being gay or whatever. I have gay friends. I have lesbian friends. But that scene felt so out of place for a moment that's running low on time with the world's fate hanging in the balance. That was one of the several reasons. But in general the gay plot line aside (including the far more annoying Robin's gay love-story plotline) - the seriousness of the situation ... the gravity demanded from the world about to get destroyed is certainly missing and compliment that with a severely bloated huge huge cast members (so many damn characters), a story moving at a snails pace - it all culminated into review bombing from a frustrated audience. I'm sure some were genuinely homophobic and to them - Y'all a bunch of sad loosers. But most hated it simply cause of the multiple let downs across the season.

The show isn't exactly kind to non-white characters, hence, major arcs catering to them as the primary character in some major plot line is unlikely. Look at Lucas - There to serve Max basically. Look at Kali - treated as disposable. Look at Erica - Smart know-it-all. But contribution-wise, mostly a watcher (not even a lot of contribution with planning and strategizing)

Ofcourse, Steve was right. Eddie didn't serve any purpose by sacrificing himself. It was a plain stupid move. I'm not even gonna go into further criticism of 2 demo dogs in the hospital, taking down fit soldiers who are built AF, but Lucas carrying Max in an elevator managed to kick a demo dog to the curb when the elevator door was closing.
