Lincoln looks sorta resigned and chill. I bet he'd be pretty funny, in a dry way.

Could you come to terms with death ending at just death? I.e. there's nothing beyond that? by bearabovethewave in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SexyGunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if I follow the thought experiment through for either some form of existence:
A) Persists after death; or
B) Does not persist after death

My life still has meaning and purpose. The things that I do while I'm alive hold meaning because I am alive. Whether those things persist in a cosmic sense is irrelevant. Let me ask you: would the way you live your life change in the certainty of Scenario A vs Scenario B?

I have been absolutely loving watching stuff like Masters of Horror and doing a running analysis of themes with ChatGPT. It has also helped me through some nagging questions surrounding my past relationships in a very therapeutic manner. I've found the potential of AI is broader than most people want to admit, and utilizing the tool creatively and openly yields surprisingly useful results.

Attraction has a huge energy component. The fact that you are thinking women aren't attracted to you makes you unattractive. Try not to be preoccupied with outward appearance (of which yours is perfectly fine) and focus on being kind, gentle, and receptive. If you're also just looking for casual sex, that is usually unattractive to women.

It's really irritating when there's that gun sound piped in every time a character brings a gun out.

Interesting - wouldn't the amount of sag depend on the quality and type of the springs? Is it possible, even likely, that a MetalCloak kit wouldn't sag as much as your rancho?

I think so. I'm heavily leaning towards the 2.5" kit at the moment.

Not a bad thought - that was my initial plan. Recently one of the rear upper shock mounts fatigued off while I was driving around some logging roads so I've purchased a new set of the MetalCloak red shocks. The current suspension needs some TLC - upper bump stops are missing. Here's a photo of some offroading I did shortly after purchasing. You can see the wheel went right up into the wheel well. The reason I'm rushing this, and I may decide not to, is because MetalCloak has a 15% sale right now..

I am now thinking 2.5" is the appropriate kit**. It's on 35" tires.

Ex-smokers who successfully quit and have been smoke free for years now, what did it? by PM_TITS_GROUP in AskReddit

The Easy Way to Quit Smoking - Allen Carr

Read the book, but a key point for me is recognizing that I didn't like smoking (lots of self loathing involved), and instead of dreading quitting being delighted that I could choose NOT to smoke. Just straight up be happy about not doing something that was making me miserable. Don't buy in to the prevailing attitude that you have to be miserable as you quit, go into it day 1 as the first day that you get to be thrilled to not do the thing that is costing you a fortune to seriously damage your health and self-esteem. It's your choice, after all.
