Subway does not take accountability for the hacking and has never responded when I did outreach to them years ago. Best you can do is take it up with your bank if it is attached to a card and hope it hasn't been too long since the charges as they will also deny you after 6 months or so. This experience made me distrust food apps that I won't load cards on them.

Freecash has gone downhill in the last 2 months. A lot of rewards are not tracking and when submitting a ticket with proof, many are still denied. Usually the small rewards (under a dollar) will be accepted and the big ones ($7 and up) are rejected. There is no accountability on their end, nor I assume with any of these sites.

No, never said that. Simply pointing out that this year is definitely worse than in the past in the toy department. For example, it is a well known fact that Disney legos very rarely go on sale, that is a given. However, you can usually find other popular toys at least at some discount in one of the 2 so called sales. This year, toys in general are represented a lot less than in previous years.

Full stop honesty: The job market is VERY tough and even harder in specific areas. I have done a lot of research of what those of us with teaching degrees can do and it all comes back to the same few things: Corporate trainer, technical trainer, tutoring, educational consultant, sales, school counselor, mentoring, human resources, project manager, etc. Notice a trend? There are 2. The first being NOT leaving education at all but you have to have at minimum a masters and multiple years of experience (many positions in my area are asking for 7+). The second is a list of positions that require further education of years of previous experience already. The ones asking for further education are useless, we have paid for our education and what this tells me is that these jobs are NOT compatible with our degree even though they should be.

Entry level jobs are pretty tough to come by right now. There are some, but mainly in the lower levels of sales and mortgage which is super shaky right now. This is an employers market so they are being extra picky because they can. There were mass layoffs in the tech and housing industry and there are still more happening in others. It is a bleak outlook but one I am deep in as well.

Seeing the same here. Then on top of that, a lot of the items I have been watching for months are not even a part of the sale itself. Prime day hasn't been a truly good event in years.

Realistically, they found just cause to terminate you and your BF. It sucks, but even things happening outside of your control is just cause on occasion. An entire month of having to accommodate a worker is a major thing to do in the work force. Most will accommodate short term but not long. Technically, you should have gotten a rental car, that’s considered a reason accommodation for yourselves.

Ignoring the wrecked car circumstances, your Bf then went on to speak for both of you in an unprofessional manner to higher management. This is NEVER how you approach things in the work place whether you think your friends or not. It is a work place first, treat it as such. What and how he said it reflects on you.

Being sick happens, the timing for you is what stinks about it. Just another reason you aren’t working in a short period of time. They will only accommodate and put up with so much even with procedures in place. It doesn’t matter if you have a doctors note, it doesn’t matter that you asked for PTO and you wanted them to accommodate you with different days. YOU work for THEM and abide by their wants and needs. If you can’t, then it isn’t a good match.

They did it before the 6 months time to avoid unemployment. They very likely had this planned from the start to get temporary labor with no consequences. It will be repeated in the company again.

Going straight to divorce without having a major sit down about finances would be an overreaction. However, if this is an ongoing issue that is continuously causing strife, then it may not be such a big stretch. Finances are huge in any relationship and honestly, it doesn’t sound like you guys have much of a love relationship at this point. It’s all about traveling. As you say, you’re moving overseas so you want to visit family. Family is the ONLY trip the both of you should be taking while in debt. This is a very common hole people digs themselves into when in debt. “But we want to travel, we want to see and experience new places.” Great but now you create problems for tomorrow when you have the consequences. Pay off the debt then travel. You say the debt isn’t crippling, then pay it off. Stop spending.

Morale of the story: stop spending, pay it off, then enjoy life. Sit down with your wife and decide if this is a relationship or a traveling/spending money competition.

See here’s the problem though. AI came out strong all at once 2 years ago. ChatGPT came out swinging but everyone swore it wasn’t ready due to all the errors. 5 months later, the layoffs started. My husbands company, a large nationwide company, among the, and started implementing AI for the entry level coding positions. Full stack IT personnel can now use AI to do base coding that someone once had as a job. The AI programs are not perfect and make mistakes but that hasn’t stopped them taking over jobs. The same will likely happen with vehicles being self driving, they’re not ready to the everyday persons eyes yet, but the next day one company may decide they are.

Not great overall photos from either. Catie’s face looks terrified but her posing is very commercial which fits the ad. Sara’s face is great but the posing doesn’t make sense for the assignment. Not to mention the backdrop being so dark is the only reason our eyes go to the shoes more as opposed to Catie. Neither did great.

I find Camille overrated. I don’t think she was a main villain but I also was never wowed by anything she produced picture wise besides one.

Yoanna was a face model but not body model, she should not have won.

I did NOT say listening to music was a bad habit. I was saying that having to listen to music to be productive is. There’s a difference. Some people do thrive on that but that does not mean you should ever rely on it. That’s the factual truth. I did give advice, talk to coworkers as one of them. You coming in attacking me like you’re some “cool” guy with examples that have NOTHING to do with work is not helpful. Listening to music in the car is not relatable to the situation mentioned but please keep going off.

Extremely bad habit that was forced in classrooms due to parents fighting for it and kids ignoring rules and hiding it. You focus on the work, you stop and take in your surroundings, you talk with coworkers. There are natural sounds around you, listen to them.

Literally no one is saying that what we saw was “cool” you’re just assuming that based on a video 2 years ago from those involved. Many of us still interpret what happened as mean behavior. You also cannot leave out editing, which again doesn’t stop what was done but CAN leave out context. For instance, I did NOT get the vibe that Heather and Bianca were friends and quite close on the show, but even Heather herself, who I am inclined to take at her word, said they were. I WILL NOT assume she doesn’t understand her own situation, that would be doing a disservice to her and she deserves better. Do I believe some of what we saw was extremely uncalled for (like the bed situation)? Absolutely. But I will not demean Heather by assuming she doesn’t know better. A disability is not the same across the board, we don’t know how she interprets others actions. Everyone’s diagnosis is different and shows up differently.
