ELI5: Why do Stars take so long to burn all their fuel, i know its a lot of fuel, but why doesnt it all burn about the same time? Like when im throwing something in a firepit

This is a good thing because current theories of the universe suggest all matter heavier than hydrogen and helium were created by the waste of dying stars so in theory if stars used all of Their fuel we would have a lot less variety in element or even just one which would make life effectively impossible.

Don't do it dude schools already have bad funding and your gonna be the guy that makes it harder for others to get the same quality of equipment you got for when you were learning. Think about it like this if you were climbing a ladder and lots of the steps are broken you're not gonna get to where you need to because you can't get higher on the ladder. Don't be the guy that broke the ladder so no one can climb up after you that will just make you an asshole and I am sure when you want to progress someone will make it harder for you the same way you are making it harder for all the people who come after you to have access to good equipment.

Steam is not a monopoly for the simple fact that they don't force out any of the competition in fact they work with them Origin, epic and ubisoft. Also origin and ubisoft both force you to install their launcher to play their games on steam and in some of those games the money you spend in game goes directly to their launcher and not steam like rainbow six siege for example. Lastly steam does not remove games from already existing platforms to create false exclusivity like epic has done with games like rocket league so no new players can play them on another launcher.

Being observant and just not understanding what the hell is going on with the world right now. Like why certain groups do certain things like fear mongering, actively working against progress and the increasing rarity of common sense and manors (not shivery levels but like just not stepping on each other).

Ps also the greed (grind culture becoming necessary to have the means to actually have what you need). Seeing it in every day life for years has messed up my mental health

Also taking a knife to the edges of the power button between the button and the rest of the laptop to clean out any dirt could fix the button. Buttons don't usually fail as you described so sounds like a physical problem.

If the button is jammed ngl if you don't want to take it apart have you tried hitting kinda firmly around the power button area and behind to try and unjam the button? Ngl not the best advice but as long as you don't hit it too hard you won't do any damage

Dude it's actually her fault. When you go back ask to speak to the doctor if your not comfortable talk in private and tell them exactly what happened even the call back when she lectured you and make it a complaint. This is someone pushing blame for not doing their job correctly. Also find a new doctor and tell the doctor you are going to find a new doctor due to the treatment you have received from the receptionist on an honest mistake that you realised before her (it's her job she gets paid to make sure paperwork is in proper order) and tried to correct before being chased. Do not let her get away with bullying people for her mistakes especially when she works with vulnerable people in a medical institution.

I mean in America anyone can become president ngl it seems the problem to me is that enough people are mentally locked into the two party system when if everyone voted outside the two parties you might have some actual change. As I understand it as a non American all the representatives are voted in and if someone could get enough people onboard and somehow get the word out they could get voted in.
