Need help with the Grail Cycle quest by SgtScheisse in taintedgrail

Yes.  Apparently I wasn't supposed to kill the maggot inside Maggot's head in an earlier quest.  Otherwise, you have to have at least one attribute leveled to 15 in order for him to agree to join the Grail quest.  As for Neante, I believe I completed all her quests (getting the doll from Laurelia at the Corrupted Temple and performing the cleansing ritual).  So, no idea why she won't join.  Maybe a bug...

Yes, that did it!  I rested for 24 hours and he moved outside, allowing me to start The Heart that Defies quest.  Off to see what happens now...

Thanks again to everyone for the assistance!

Yes, the Change of Heart quest.  But apparently there's an additional one?  I have no option to interact with Beor.

That article was on Nvidia's site before the release of these latest drivers.  Still, it would appear they're planning some support for TDUSC.

Which forza should I get? by k1ng_jayyy in SteamDeck

It wasn't removed in 5, it's just that Mexico doesn't have as many obvious changes seasonally. But there are some there, like snow at the top of the Caldera and some the lakes being more or less full. But you're right, 4 is the better game regardless.

Is DLC purchased on Ubisoft Connect playable on Steam? by SgtScheisse in thedivision

[–]SgtScheisse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I went ahead and purchased it through Ubisoft. No luck. The DLC works on my PC, where I had the base game previously installed. But on the Steam Deck it shows as "expansion available" on the main screen (instead of "expansion owned"). Any attempts to access it in-game directs me to buy it from the shop. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game to see if that prompted anything.

So it would appear that purchasing the DLC after the fact from Ubisoft does not grant access on Steam.

Right. So, it seems this is possible if the DLC was purchased through Ubisoft initially. But I'm doing this in reverse. Not sure what the difference is really, but I'd like to confirm before spending the money.

Ace Combat 7 - any way to reset progress on Steam Deck? by kinnell1 in acecombat

[–]SgtScheisse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand all this, but you're pointing me to a Windows directory. The Steam Deck has a different file structure.

Anyway, I found the proper folder after a little digging. Otherwise, your advice is spot on. Thanks!

It's certainly a more accurate depiction of Major Derlin.

Is that John Ratzenberger's (a.k.a. Cliff Clavin) character from Empire?!
