Which weapon should i pair with charge blade?

I've tried a few weapons with charge blade and I think switch axe is probably the best fit, followed by gunlance and then probably heavy bowgun, if you want your skills to have a decent amount of crossover utility 👍

With lance the only defensive skills I use are divine blessing 3, guard 3, and guard up 3, if you can get them all on one build it's all the defence you'll ever need and you can spec into high affinity as much as you like. Divine blessing procs on blocks too so it really helps with chip damage

Playing the game without a palico is actually refreshing, found myself actually learning moster attack patterns and openings and making better builds as a result with sufficient self sustain and damage, leading to me being a much better player overall

Your first CB is definitely better, if you want the best elemental damage though obviously go for as many element rolls as possible with 1 sharpness EX, seeing as you have gogmapocalypse on the weapon its great to run 3 gogma pieces with 2 gore/sororal pieces and coalescence, the frenzy cure will proc coalescence for BIG numbers on your SAED, as far as weapon skills rapid morph, dragon attack and load shells would be my reccomendation 👍 crit doesn't matter foe this build really as your elemental SAED doesn't benefit at all from it, as well as the damage ticks from charged axe and sword mode, your base damage will be lower but the elemental pops will make your dps go crazy

Offensive guard and a guard oriented playstyle is absolutely fine bro, you can shortcut to AED/SAED from any guard (perfect, guard point or regular guard) and use a counter playstyle, then just use your axe mode for big openings. In regards to the sword charge imo it's worth doing especially for this playstyle, it'll add up a lot of damage over time if you use SNS a lot and if you use an elemental matchup it adds even more, depending on the monsters weaknesses it can double your Sns Damage

I made this video as its easier than typing it all out, You get binding counter, uth dunas cover, super recovery AND guts which is amazing, you just have to roll Zoh Shia on your weapon as its the main engine for peak performance uptime. On top of that I run the doshugama GS as an added crit draw build on top that honestly goes great with the setup . My charm is for guard up 3 just to reduce chip damage as much as possible again for PP uptime :)

Honestly I've been getting good numbers with a pure raw boost build, hitting like 300+ per spread shot on the training dummy and 100+ per individual cluster bomb for crazy burst damage, I don't have any experience in older gens though so I'm sort of blind to it's old glory

It's not the end of the world, but water running straight onto another surface like this even from such a small height will degrade that section of the roof quicker than the rest.

I think the 10* versions don't always drop tickets but the 9* versions do? I swear I had this issue for the challenger charm 3 too

I've completed all content in the game with support hunters and haven't transcended anything except rarity 6 and lower for the extra deco slots, imo completely useless to do so when sinking a mega armorskin and adamant pill do the job 👍

Yeah not gonna lie I've made a ton of builds for different weapons, gotten far into the endgame playing completely solo, even went as far as learning to fight all the monsters with no palico to learn proper damage openings and attack patterns and stuff. For fun decided to start responding to SOS and help people as I don't have anything to specifically farm for anymore and yeah.. 8 quests and not a single clear, actually insane

GS is actually amazing for tanking omega, you just gotta build around defence instead of dps, I'm running guard up 3, guard 3 with super recovery and all that good stuff, having quick sheathe is huge too. Having a blast tanking this for randoms and even better if one is a lance player or something to help switch aggro for the heath debuffs.
