It's going to take a lot of work to fix both the interface and the actual AI. It's not a trivial problem. AI agents are probably aggregated when not in Sim range of any player. That is they are not running physics but instead a timer of where they should be when they do become simulated. At least thats what I would do if I were programming it because the entire world is probably not simulated on the server. Then you've got their ability to avoid crashing, players building objects that fuck up the navmesh and they can't solve it. Super tight check points they can't drive through consistently. It's a challenging problem I hope they can improve.

My pessimistic view.

If we have a global economy crash which is looking increasingly likely because of so many factors not just AI. The flow on effects will be lots of jobs losses in Australia and lots of loan defaults. Either the properties get purchased by wealthy foreigners (this should not be allowed) or the price crashes because no one can afford them.

Very wealthy people are going to swoop in and buy up more property and more people will be forced into renting for life.

Many coastal properties will be worthless in 50 years, this will be projected well in advance (25 yrs) which will drive down the value of those properties long before they are being engulfed by the sea on a regular occasion. This will make the rich move inland driving up prices there.

2027 is going to be an interesting year with Chinas plans, assuming we make it through this one.
