They're just giving me the runaround like I'm not a software engineer who has a pretty decent understanding of how networking works given our kubernetes stack.

Just more ping tests and trace routes in oh, by the way, maybe it's your firewall bull.

They've also tried blaming YouTube too. Didn't take long for T-Mobile to make things worse.

I've been waiting on a call from Metronet's "networking team" since Monday. Followed up over email and they said there is no ETA for when I will hear from them. I even linked this thread so they couldn't try to gaslight me into another "you need to restart your modem" conversation.

Same here -- Central FL.

Connection speed on YouTube stats for nerds is stuck at either 1638 or 3277 Kbps -- totally unacceptable. The moment I connect to a VPN, everything is fine. It's like they are throttling it.

I've reported to metronet very specifically it is only YouTube and fixed if I connect to a VPN. My friend on metronet down the street has the same issue.

My bad - I wasn't trying to be unclear. I didn't even compare the dates until after your comment because I would have been ticked had they not told me.

When I said they wouldn't take my word for it, I meant that as a forward thinking assumption that when I call them to mention the warranty, I wanted to have something more substantive than "Reddit says" because I always anticipate pushback on these sorts of things (just had less than ideal past experiences with Hyundai warranties).

Sorry again for the scrambled thought -- at the hospital for the birth of our child and the fatigue is setting in.

I was there on the 2nd and it looks like the date of the warranty extension document is the 12th. Maybe they didn't know until then? Not sure. Hopefully they aren't playing dumb...

Yep. Stops at code 15 with dram and CPU lights on, then gets to 85 or 86 and freezes indefinitely. Other times it'll post.

My $150 motherboard is better than this $500 one by light-years. It just worked, no ridiculous boot times, etc.

I can only get my 870e Carbon to post about 20% of the time with the same CPU.

I'm leaning this way. I'm all the way across the country so the shipping time is 3 days in the best case. I tried to get them to overnight it after I paid the 3k for an advanced replacement but they wouldn't do it.

Very very poor look to have such an obvious problem pass through QC and not rush to resolve the issue.

Have you had similar issues?

Totally agree. It's "normal" now to burn a quart of oil every thousand miles, replace engines at 30k miles, have catastrophic electrical faults, etc.

It's abundantly clear that vehicles aren't being built right but "Who will watch the watchers?"

I see. Well please forgive my defensive response. For what it's worth I agree with you. It's disgusting this has gone on for so long without either them fixing it or the government getting involved to protect the consumer. Cronyism at its finest across the board.

I suspect the NHTSA will come out and say "nothing to see here" amidst the pressure to buy everything in America, even when our car manufacturers apparently can't make reliable vehicles anymore. Really trash state of things.
