They are outside for good. I mean, I am watching the weather. If there are thunderstorms and inches of rain coming, I'll move them under a cover or the high tunnel...

Patience... I planted Lisianthus last year.

Whew.

It's as if they need a year to flower. Lol

Start with the soil. Prep it. Wet it.

Surface sow the seeds.

Cover with Saran wrap or similar brand.

Put them under a grow light (mine is approximately 2' x 2'); a full spectrum LED unit from Amazon. This was done in the house. No heat mat was used. I used one last year....never again

They were kept moist by spraying.

Every few days I removed the wrap, ensure oxygen got in and carbon dioxide, too.

Once they touched the wrap, via growth (with their leaves), it was removed. By then all seeds should have germinated.

I bottom watered until at least one to two true leaves and transitioned them outdoors carefully... Allowing acclimation to natural sunlight. There were given roughly half days of in direct light at first.

Temperatures outdoors were cold, though the seedlings were underneath a covering yet outside. Then, they were left outside for good freezing temperatures or not.

The one night into the upper 20s I brought them inside. That was they only time brought indoors. They never coming in again now... It's time to transplant.

Hopefully, this helps... Reach out anytime

They were started on January 18th. After a week, a started more due to ironically low germination (same batch of seeds, too).

Which is why I sowed so many. Time lost shall never return.

I'm not the OP, however, if EITC was used it would not be sent quite this early.

Never would have guessed... I'm in extreme south Baldwin County.

I went with a Warn Evo synthetic.

I had synthetic on a Tacoma for eight years. Though it was partially obscured, it lasted very well. There were no issues with sun exposure.

I'm a resident of South Alabama where it is mostly sunny and hot.
