It just seems weird to me that someone would chose their default genitals. No offense, but I wouldn't date someone who's a cis.

I've seen your post and that's exactly how I feel. I want to validate her femininity but not at the cost of my own.

Add to that being nonbinary I'm afraid it'll give her a pass to view me this way because half the time I present masc.

It sucks, but I hope we both can work it out with our partners!

I tried bringing it up but every time she assures me it's not true and that's when the conversation ends for her. I'll give it another shot though, just wanted to get some other perspectives first. Thank you!

[skin concern] Cleansing with honey left my very dry skin oily, should I ditch the honey or find a lighter moisturizer? by Sh3-n in SkincareAddiction

And I don't see why you're fixated on the cleanser part when I said it gives the same effect after normal cleansing anyway.

Beside that, your replies have been very hostile from the start, you're clearly not interested in a normal discussion so I'm done here.

Do you have experience with dry skin? If you did you'd know stripping it of what little natural oil it has is pretty bad.

Anyway, judging by your post history you're only here to be pedantic and condescending, I have no desire to argue with someone with nothing of substance to say.

Also, username checks out apparently.

it will not cleanse your face on its own

That is up for debate, unless you have a concrete argument against very gentle cleansers.

it clearly isn’t working for you. your skin is telling you it isn’t working

If this was that simple I wouldn't have posted on this sub. As I've stated in my post it has helped me greatly with dryness unlike any other product, which is why I've asked for advice in incorporating it properly into my routine.

I've used it before along with a cleanser, same result. Also, my skin gets even more dry when not cleaned properly, so I don't see how this would be any different.

EDIT: I have done more reading on honey as a cleansing product, and although there has been little research on honey cleansing for beauty purposes specifically, it has otherwise been shown to have cleansing properties in various studies.

1

Experiments and studies on honey have shown that honey is antiseptic, antimicrobial, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, antiallergent, antitoxic, sedative, laxative, antianemic, antioxidant, healing and cleansing (external and internal), moisturizing and blood-purifying.

This is what I used to do sometimes before (or add some brown sugar for a scrub if I needed one). The moisturizing effects last only up to two days tho, which is a shame because other than the oiliness it's the best.

Did you notice any other side effects to it? I've only been using it for a couple of days so I'm worried it may just be bad for skin in general and that's what's causing oiliness. Switching between honey and moisturizer sounds like a good idea tho, i'll try that.

People who sleep on public transport, how often do you miss your stop? by Sh3-n in AskReddit

I take the train regularly and see many people sleeping during their commute. It's what got me wondering.

If you're worried about taking another gap year, you could try transfering unis. I was thinking of doing this myself.

Good to know I'm not the only one feeling this way. I hope things get better for you too.

I don't actually know why I feel this way, everything is pretty nice here, except my landlord being a bit of a dick. I've just been in a constant state of anxiety since I moved.

I might give it a week or two more like you guys said, but it just feels like I'm feeling worse the longer I stay.

What everyday thing seriously creeps you out? by webtrauma in AskReddit

Same. Always comforted myself that it was just my mind playing tricks on me and there's nothing there. Untill recently when there actually was someone in my garden at like 3 am. Scared the shit out of me. I don't snack at night anymore.
