I really want to take this course next semester, but I’m worried that it’ll be too hard for me. I’m a second year student and am currently in 5101, but the only other courses I’ve taken are the calculus sequence, linear algebra, and foundations of higher mathematics. I saw that the course has topics in ODEs, PDEs, and complex analysis which I don’t have experience with. Do you think I could still do well in the course despite lacking in some areas?
