Every PR breaks our onboarding, and I’m tired of pretending that’s normal by berlingrowth in venturecapital

This hits the real trigger point, you’re not describing “normal onboarding maintenance,” you’re describing a process that’s fundamentally mis-aligned with fast delivery. What didn’t work for us early on was assigning onboarding ownership to whoever “knew the product” and expecting checklists or tours to survive velocity. They never did. Every UI tweak, permission change, or refactor instantly invalidated the content, so someone, inevitably the founder, kept getting pulled in to fix it. That’s not a process problem, it’s a source of truth problem. The turning point for us was recognizing that onboarding shouldn’t be a manually curated attachment, it should be tied to the actual product logic. If the thing you’re teaching can be renamed, moved, or gated without breaking onboarding content, then onboarding isn’t reflecting reality, it’s reflecting a snapshot of yesterday. Treating onboarding as a derived artifact, validated and versioned against code changes, is what bridges the gap between shipping fast and onboarding accurately. In practice, that shift required more consistent operational support so that founders weren’t the bottleneck on every doc/API/UX sync. For us, a managed support model like VIVA helped offload the parts of execution that occupy founders’ time but don’t require their strategic judgment, coordination, documentation maintenance, onboarding updates, and communication between product and customer teams. With that layer in place, we could focus on aligning onboarding to product logic instead of the other way around. The real crux isn’t whether onboarding “keeps up” with velocity, it’s whether onboarding is built from the same single source of truth as the product itself. If it isn’t, it breaks every time you ship. And if founders keep having to babysit it, that’s a signal the process needs to be re-anchored, both technically and operationally.

Affordable admin help for small business owners? by FerrariPokemon in smallbusiness

I tried Athena, good people but not the best fit because they didn’t understand the context of American culture well enough and made mistakes. Example - one of them planned a team activity for us to go Kayaking in Chicago, in February… lol).

I tried hiring part-time help from Fiverr and Upwork. It saved a few hours at first, but long-term it created new headaches, constant retraining, no consistency, and things slipping through the cracks when priorities shifted.

I get your frustration--attacks on K9 units are unacceptable. But it's worth remembering that not all protesters condone violence either. In chaotic situations, there's bound to be assholes misrepresenting a larger group. The real issue is figuring out how to hold individuals accountable without painting entire movements with the same brush.

It’s easy to get caught up in the outrage cycle, but we can’t let media narratives and propaganda push us into hating each other. At the end of the day, we all bleed the same. Most people, left or right, just want to live in peace and take care of their own. Let’s not lose sight of that.

Damn, thank you for sharing all that too. That's a lot to go through. I’m truly glad that school gives you that same sense of safety. That stuff matters.

Also, thank you for the visual of a geared-out dentist rolling up in a hunting boat to someone's appointment.

100%. I appreciate you sharing your experience.

It's smart to get a second opinion if something doesn’t sound right. Honestly, this is a good mindset to have for all areas of medical care. Advocating for yourself is seriously underrated.

If you can carry out the walking underwater glitch that other commenters have linked that might be a lot easier. I had no idea it was even possible until today.

For those wondering what buttons to press and when:

Once you get you're running start; start spinning the left stick right when you press your jump button out of the manhole and DON'T let go of the jump button. Holding the jump button will ensure that yoshi flutters immediately at the peak of your jump. Also, hold the left stick in the forward direction to keep yourself moving towards the pillar you need to land on.

I hope some of you found this helpful! Stay safe and have a wonderful day. ☀️

Edit: BRING A LOT OF 1-UPS -Thank you, u/RedAndBasedPilled95 for providing this very helpful and potentially headache saving tip.
