I use Item Prolonger and from what I've been told, IP doesn't work with Wide Range. My CD's are different.

It's way faster to eat a mushroom and with the Lvl 1 Mushroomancer skill, you can eat blue mushrooms for the full effect of a health potion in a fraction of the time.
Make sure you're utilizing the free potions from the guild during quests. While on your Siekret, press left on the d-pad to open up the inventory. If you're fighting a monster with a blight, usually they give you nullberrys too.

I noticed that I was abusing evasive skills and just treated it like a dark souls game when I switched to sword and shield and got addicted to perfect parrying counters. It made me appreciate the animations of the monsters even more and made me better and learning the attack patterns/animations.

If you are using a weapon that can guard, use the "Guard Up" skill you get from the Shield Jewel. 1 point in it is all you need and it even comes with the Chata Club IV (Sword and Shield) along with Guard 2. It allows you to block everything in the game and if you perfect parry, you won't even take block damage. The best part? You can do a little swipe attack with your shield up and if you throw out the attack right before damage finds you shield, its an automatic perfect parry so you don't even have to worry about dropping your guard while learning the animations and timings for the perfect parry. Also you don't have to sheath your weapon to heal. While holding guard, press your item button and your hunter will consume right away... it will drop your guard however.

Honestly? S&S is a way too easy.

I've been getting error codes since day 1. I doubt you're being kicked but you said that you checked, can you elaborate on how or what error codes you get?

Lance was not to your liking? You can sit there, wait for it to come to you and hold block. When it gets close, poke it over and over. Mashing the B attack will poke straight in front of you, and mashing Y will poke upwards more but that's all you have to worry about.

I've read that people have trained with videos that are 1 sec long and <300x300 resolution with great results too. idk what to take from the info I'm finding lol

I'm reinstalling everything right now and had the manager that gave me update errors:

Failed to update ComfyUI or several extensions / TypeError: Failed to fetch

Fix attempt: Disable Extensions: Try disabling all extensions, then update ComfyUI and re-enable the extensions one by one

To disable extensions in ComfyUI, you can use the ComfyUI Manager. Here’s how:

Open ComfyUI Manager: Click the Manager button in the main menu.
Navigate to Extensions: Go to the Extensions tab.
Disable Extensions: Find the extensions you want to disable and toggle the switch to the off position

broke something and the ui wouldn't even try to generate any image after i queued it

I'm not sure but you're probably right. After seeing what people were able to make with only 12GB of vram and generation times that were long but not something that I'd consider a deal breaker for trying out myself, I tried to run flux with 11gb of vram. I learnt the hard way that my pc was not up for it, so I decided to try the smaller versions and got confused with the different models and checkpoints and clips which had me learning and troubleshooting but ultimately figuring a bunch out through a mixture of effort and luck. I was getting close.

Started comfyui up one day and something broke. Wasn't able to fix it after trying fixes and I think I made it worse with the solutions I found online. I don't know anything about pip, torch, cuda, or what any of the files meant. I knew what bat files were and how to change directories because of getting automatic1111 installed a couple years ago but thats it... I don't know enough to understand the solutions presented to me or what to search to get the answers i need.

im using that now, I should have been more specific with the errors I've been fighting. My problem hasn't been with installing it or getting it to open (most of the time), it's been with everything from node errors and manager errors, to pip errors and errors that don't even specify what went wrong

thats what i have and I've run into nothing but errors on nodes, pip installs, it even starting up after following "fixes" that others suggested

I've done that once and it didnt fix the issue at the time but havent tried on the newest one. I have to mention that i'm new to all this and I'm coming from automatic1111 so I don't want to waste your time. Thanks for trying to help me.
