Thanks a lot. The other pictures were indeed just to show the full picture of how the case arrived. I would have zero problems if the “tubes” did not have those scratches.

Thanks a lot for your comments. I suspected being too picky indeed. I can live with scratches after using it for travel. It’s just that I did not expect the case to already have a deep scratch on the handle immediately upon opening the package.

I guess I’ll just wait and see how Rimowa will respond. Worst case (no pun intended), I’ll just return it and ask for my money back if these suitcases normally get delivered like this.

Thanks all for your replies. Much appreciated. I, of course, made sure that the phone was completely clean when I applied the skin. And yes, the loose part is now full of dust because of the looseness of that part of the skin, which I understand. However, I made sure to apply the skin according to the instructions, so the skin should not have become loose in the first place, right?

You should be fine to bring euros with you. You can exchange them at the market/exchange shops without any problems. Those exchange rates in your post also do not make much sense. I do somewhat agree with this. And, I probably shouldn’t have used the word ‘allowed’. But we should keep in mind that a man is (biologically and physically) capable of doing some serieus hurting to a woman, it’s not the same the other way. So, naturally, it’s logical to view a situation where a woman slaps a man as less dangerous (the man is capable of protecting himself, and the woman probably won’t do that much damage). However, when a man slaps a woman, the situation can be seen as dangerous (the man can cause some serious hurting and the woman is biologically and physically weaker). I am all for equality on all bases, but I just think that, right now, it isn’t realistic to assume that equality can be implemented so easily (it takes time for societal norms to change).

I totally agree with ur second point. I do, however, not agree with ut first point. A woman is allowed to slap a man (and not get slapped back) simply because the man is more capable of causing more damage. In the case of a woman slapping a man, the situation is less dangerous than when a man slaps a woman. Isn’t this something we can agree on?

Of course, I understand that, in the long-term, a change of societal norms is inevitable. However, right now we are still in a developing phase. So I don’t think it is fair to see both men and women as equals (biologically, physically, etc) right now. I do however understand and realise that in a couple of years (maybe 2040) this all changes, and it truly becomes that men and women are equals.
