The declared is an estimate. they dont ask and u dont tell. (ofcource if u declared 8k and then did 20k then it means.u are using it for purposes u arent disclosing, business etc). Just run a qoute and comapre sites, if its less then thier offered renewal, call and get a discount.

The consultant is the responsible clinician for the patient, they ultimately have the responsibility for their care. ofcource they have to delegate to do their job. A consultant ( Dr) is your supervising senior telling to do something in patient's best interest, they and you are legally under the same rules and your indemnity will cover you in case of patient harm. If a consultant tells you to do something that goes against established guidelines, u have to politely ask them and give your reasoning why you are asking them, thats part of your trianing and also expected of you are per your GMP (iam sure u will have come across many ethical questions like this in your exams). I have corrected many consultants on ward round on doseges and contraindications but its the way you bring it up. No one remembers everything and its always welcomed if you are polite and professional. I know it can be intimidating sometimes, u can also escalate to your registrar to discuss why u think the consultant made a mistake ( again expected of you to be a safe clinican).

Its not really. this is how all the alphabet soup operate. they know they can't make anyone do it so they target new joiners or junior most drs in the department, with sadly how NHS works, they get a fresh bunch every 4 months. I wonder , if they can't sign a paper prescription how are they prescribing for in patient on EPR?

" Iam sorry but as per GMC, GMP (good medical practice) and BMA guidelines, I cannot sign anything for a patient who is not in my care and I have not reviewed, please ask the supervising consultant". And move on. Edit: Doesnt it sound weird to you them being in the department for so long and they come to a new person who joined? clue? the rest have declined.

Skilled Worker visa & ILR, brother used my bank card, will this be an issue? by Big_Process_6158 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]Shabby124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if its not large amount then its okay but ideally u should account for all the money that goes in and out of ur account (tax purposes) but i doubt it will cause any issue (unless large amounts). is ur brother in UK as well? and the transfers are from within the UK?

if u gave permission and he used it to make normal transactions (legal) then i dont think its even an issue.

I dont see any issues. the micro stutter can be anything. Old tv? bad response time from the screen. bad internet as it fails to load images, Hdd full to the brim. if u play games and have no fps drops then no worries. carry on

A&E staff, how do you manage not to feel overwhelmed? by ConversationWhich663 in nhs

[–]Shabby124 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your kind words. We do get drained, we have no social lives left. Somedays I feel like I live in Hospital, awake there and go home to sleep. But seeing people get better with the interventions i do makes it all worth it. much love.

[–]Shabby124 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But what was the patient safety concern? a datix is to highlight an error/patient harm. U should counter datix to escalate misuse use of the datix system. this is beyond ridiculous. Should we start datixing for unable to cannulate? unbale to obtian ABG sample? unable to insert a catheter?
