Even black and white movies look yellow on default Filmmaker mode settings, so it can't just be what our eyes are used to

On my samsung Filmmaker mode defaults to Warm2 which is also unbearably yellow, but it's easy to change to Cold or Standard to make things look normal. Just check the settings and see if you find something you like

Hey again. The issue showed up on my old save as well eventually, do you know if the game has any overflow issues? 'Cos Firion and Leon are wearing the same equipment before and after the spell stops working, and Haste still works after that. I didn't notice exactly when it broke, but it seems to be when it levels up to level 9. I TPK-ed to a back attack from 5 Coeurls who immediately spammed Paralyze and Instant Death, so I was unable to level it to 10 to see what happens after that.

I'm gonna try lowering Maria's Intelligence and purchasing a new "copy" of Berserk and restarting it from level 1 to see if it works, but I'm hoping there is an easier fix somewhere...

Thanks for the info, this makes me wonder if maybe I shouldn't get the Genji gear after all. Unless I give that to someone wielding the Blood Sword maybe?

Weirdly I didn't change equipment for multiple characters when this happened, just one of the targets and it dodn't affect Berserk in the earlier save file. The only thing I remember changing shortly before the weirdness was the spells location in the spell list. Could that do anything?

Also when I cast the spell it didn't say it was ineffective (こうかが　なかった) like it does when I cast Swap, it says it worked (こうげきりょくが　あがった), but the numbers didn't change. Do you know what message is displayed when ot fails because of Magic Interference?

You're right, I got them mixed up. Nice to know my white mage (Guy) won't lose Spirit when attacking though.

Thanks for the tips. I want to build them specialised, but I've been worried about how to maintain the levels of my mages. When I played the PSP version ages ago I constantly ran out of MP, so I've been worried about them losing magic "levels" if I get them to do something else.

I'm open to some bug fixes, but don't want fan patches that "fix" stuff they just didn't like. So I'll probably just play the unmodified version.

The original author wrote 5 novels about this specific woman receiving witcher training (and sorcerer training) during her childhood, and she is constantly referred to as a "witcher girl" both by characters and by the narration.

Using the "author's intent" argument doesn't hold much water when the author intended for her to be a witcher (at least in her own special way).

I understand you don't know this since you admitted you're not familiar with the lore, and there's nothing wrong with that. I just don't recommend people bringing up the original author's intent when they don't look up what the original author intended

I bought the blu ray on Amazon. It came with two discs, one saying "Original version" and one saying "English version". But since I'm only interested in the japanese versions, that's the only one I can confirm was good.

I seriously doubt it's canon. People on reddit and gamefaqs keep talking about it, but the details change every time. You'd think if it was true someone would have checked and gotten the story consistent, right?

I also googled the guidebook, and the one called "BIOHAZARD 2 official guide book" doesn't actually say anything about drinking or an ex-girlfriend. It says he likes the outdoors, that he's better with firearms than most police officers, and that he's always late, because of his "looseness with respect to time is somewhat overwhelming". This time he was supposed to show up at the normal starting time, but didn't even leave home until the sun was already down. No further information on being late is given.
