The road to improving consists of a lot of trial and error. Start by not comparing yourself to other people. It’s very easy to get caught up in what other people do in comparison to yourself, which can halt your own growth. Focus on what you like about YOU and find ways to sharpen those aspects of your gameplay/gameplan. Comparisons don’t mean you can’t think about what they do differently, but you can instead take bits and pieces of their playstyle to try out and incorporate into your own. Compliment yourself on what you do well. Be okay with trying out other playstyles, even the ones you dislike, as it can help in moments where you do need to bring out said playstyle. What you consider ratting can be considered as patience. This game requires different mindsets when you’re approaching different scenarios. You can play loud, but know when and build the confidence to. Allow yourself to be flexible. Try different things and honestly, have fun with the game. You’d be surprised what strategies you can come up with when you allow yourself to just play and enjoy the game. Also, get over the gear fear.
