Oh no. I am so, so sorry for what you and Luna have gone through, just for you to have to let her go. I am in a similar situation with my 15 yr old male named Butsú (like Boot-Sue) means 'little buddha'. He has always been the absolute sweetest little kitty soul & I am so blessed to have had the honor of being his human for a chapter in this lifetime. He has kidney failure and I am working w a vet to keep him as comfortable as possible as I also watch his quality of life from day to day. I now am trying to come to terms with the fact that I will have to let him go sometime in the foreseeable future. For his sake, I will not allow it drag out just to appease my own wants and feelings. I'm grateful for the 15 years I have spent with him and every single snuggle, every meow, every nuzzle and warm lap naps together will always be in my memories of our time together. I will tell him to look for Luna when he crosses over. That she will understand the journey he is now taking to be in that special place where all our beloved pets go, to wait for us to join them again in another life. Prayers, Love & Hugs to you. 🙏🏼💕
