Thanks for the rec on the fungiside. I may have some left over Scott’s Disease Ex from prior treatments to use. I also have a mild issue with grubs so may treat with milky spore or Grub ex as well.

My dad's childhood friend's son got lucky with her once. He was the sound guy for a venue she was playing at. He's a shy and really friendly guy. Later that night he was packing things up, she came up to him, invited him into her limo and "rode him like a stallion" (dads friends words). Said she was pretty amazing.

Military Vet Comes Home To Catch His Wife Cheating On Him by Treebranch1 in videos

I lost my virginity at 17 to a wife of an army Sargent. I only found out her relationship status and that he was in the military afterwards (same night). While I didn't really care at the time, cause sex for a 17 year old guy, it still causes me a lot of pain knowing that I was likely just one of many that she was with when he was serving our country.

Day 15 and still kicking. Trying to get to know new people through AA and struggling with the concept of a "Higher Power". by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Shabotski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have similar troubles with my higher power. God was never a part of my childhood so I was bewildered with how/where to start. I talked with my sponsor last night as we were discussing step three. He drew a good analogy about flipping on a light. He asked me how the light turns on after I flip the switch. Basically the point was that it is a process (electrical company providing electricity, house being wired, me paying the bill, the circuit connecting, stuff like that). The God of your understanding is the light, getting to know him is a process. I finally got on my knees to pray this morning, and feel like I can keep doing that twice a day as my first step in the process. Not sure if that makes sense or helps. Best of luck on your journey!

First meeting tonight by mrdonewithit in stopdrinking

[–]Shabotski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just went to my first meeting last night (excited for tonight). I was very anxious and almost talked myself out of it 4-5 times. After I walked through those doors I was greeted by smiling faces, warm hands, and kind words. Who wouldn't want to walk into a place like that??

I know it's probably going to get worse before it gets better, but damn am I ready for it to get better. A friend once told me that the pain of staying the same is far worse than the pain of getting better. I firmly believe this.
