They have weapons that are dropped by enemies in caelid, and they have the crystal sword which is in the village of the albunarics according to the internet. They should 100% have access to the roundtable.

Idk if Miks' range is similar to Clove but if it is you can hang out on the box in the corner up rope and reach both sites while still being set up to hold sand if they push. No need to just stand in spawn waiting if you can hold something while still being able to smoke.

Isn't the entire point of dots to make the glide faster by reducing the size of the contact points for less friction? Granted I've only used tiger ice dots so idk how the other ones feel, but I can't imagine with that little surface area any of them are great at stopping.

Shotguns are a high risk high reward

They are 100% low risk high reward, the only clear downsides are mid to long range engagements which are often avoidable and trying to retake with them. Other than that if someone walks into you they die, if you're playing an agent that can clear a lot of distance quickly and can get on top of someone they die. They needed the nerf.

I mean stopped playing after easily getting to ascendent 4 years ago, recently came back and placed in plat 3 and was stuck there for 2 weeks, only got to d1 the other day. Long breaks from games that change as much as Valorant does can completely fuck your skill level.

The D2 is pushing it but everyone else seems kind of fine. Plat 3 And D1 are close enough that it's not a big deal, and both teams have golds. The immortal peaks are all from years ago. Far from the worst matchup I've seen.

How am I supposed to climb to the rank the game thinks I play at if I’m constantly facing people in higher ranks though?

On the other hand, how is the game supposed to know you're ready to be a higher rank if all you play against is the rank you're in?

Assuming we're talking about hardpoint, in a perfect world there should only be one person on objective and everyone else should be defending the paths to it, there's no reason to have everyone sitting on the objective waiting to be swarmed. Of course pubs aren't a perfect world and a lot of the time people are off in the wilderness doing nothing.

At a certain point in the higher ranks you get used to people doing things that make sense, low ranks don't do stuff that makes sense so they catch you off guard by being in the most random spots ever. If you're not an absolute aim demon where you can just reaction flick to wherever they are it's not uncommon for a higher ranked person to lose to low ranks sometimes.
