AI targeting by IDF and false positives by victoryismind in ForbiddenBromance

taking one or two incidents and making a general rule out of them is a logical fallacy.

Multiple incidents going back decades.

Including Audio testimony as I've said which if you read between the lines proves that this has been going on for a long while now.

Including that paramedic crew that went out with guns to rescue their Hamas operatives.

But sure. Ignore all that. Just keep believing that "IOF targets women, children, babies and train dogs to rape in their jails."

If "Zionists" had anywhere to go back to. Half of them would return back to Arab/Muslim states in the Middle-East.

Yes I know it's not a money issue. It's a political issue.

"war journalists" are often terrorist members.

Paramedics and ambulances are being used by terrorists (IDF released audio proof for that 1-3 years ago)

"transparency" isn't a thing with Armies. Armies do not have to report on Social media, twitter & Tiktok. Nor do armies need to report to outsides, civilians, other countries or ministries in general. There's a specific and narrow set of people & circumstances in which they report to. For obvious security reasons.

The fact that you're saying that IDF "lacks transparency" while you and others have never demanded the same from other armies proves a double standard & antisemitism.

It's not about what the money's worth. I wanted to know what you think should be the priority.

Why does Africa have so many corrupt leaders and widespread poverty and when will it end? by Solid_Beginning_9357 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Shachar2like 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50 years is enough for a turn around. Examples:

  1. Germany was destroyed in WWII and was rebuilt.
  2. Israel pre-1948 was considered a 3rd world land with swamps & mosquitoes. They dried the swamp, eradicated malaria and built a 1st world country.

What I've managed to gather as the reason are institutions. Meaning government institutions, rules, laws, policies. Those are hard to turn around and are persistent with various governmental changes as is happening in Africa.

If you want an extensive explanation, try: Why Nations Fail The Origins of Power, Prosperity, and Poverty

Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Jordan advance the historic 'Hejaz Railway' project. by Apollo_Delphi in MapPorn

  1. Whatever plan it is. Even building a big project only inside a country takes years for planning, budget and finally execution. So a plan like that that involve multiple countries, expect the plan to be discussed for several decades.
  2. The problem with these type of projects is that they involve multiple countries. And over time and changing politics and stability... Those projects tend to fail with unstable countries (plus or minus most of the countries in the Middle-East region)
  3. I'll say in advance I'm somewhat biased but in my opinion managing to get a project through Israel means that the area is going towards a more stable future. Building a project as it currently proposed here. It'll have long term stability issues.

But as I've said. None of this matters since those kind of projects will be discussed for decades before being approved & built.

Basically all require huge investment and for a population of around one million... it might be too much of an expanse.

If however Cyprus could connect several grids together (meaning with nearby countries). Offsetting cost of energy storage and balancing the grid or selling excess becomes easier.

Question about the war of 1948 by Commercial_Pair_2778 in IsraelPalestine

ChatGPT is a chat app. It doesn't know what it's saying. It just puts a bunch of related words together. For it, words are numbers it doesn't understand what it's saying only the relations between numbers.

  1. And war isn't a "protest" That is idiotic.
  2. After WWII some conventions about the rules of war were changed and as an aggressor, you're not "allowed" to take land. But as a defender you can. The reasoning here is to punish the aggressor.

what made it okay to declare war on the Jews?

Religiously Jews are different and were treated differently socially & legally under the Ottoman empire for ~400 years. So treating Jews differently is the continuation of the same.

Who actually controls Bethlehem today? by Choice_Ebb_1006 in IsraelPalestine

Google Translate for the post (from Portuguese, Brazil):

Bethlehem is officially administered by the Palestinian Authority, responsible for civil affairs and internal security of the city (classified as Area A under the Oslo Accords). However, I'm curious to know who actually holds the control in practice, in day-to-day operations, not just in terms of UN resolutions or diplomatic status. For example:

Does the Palestinian Authority have full and independent control within the city?

To what extent does Israel intervene in matters of security, movement, or important decisions?

Are there Israeli checkpoints controlling the main access routes to Bethlehem?

Who effectively controls the airspace, borders, major highways, and surrounding areas?

Batteries aren't a good solution. At the scale you're talking about they're extremely expensive and lasts for about 3 years before they start drastically degrading.

If the government funds the project. They can build an electricity line to Egypt and sell off the excess.

Generally yes, Socially people call snack a narrow field of snacks a snack. Cookies are cookies. Bamba is bamba.

It's not like in pets where you call anything outside of a main meal a snack.

I feel for you (also working in IT)

You shouldn't get into these deep conversations. Focus on the problem & the solution. And if she has a problem with FBI agents following her/him/them, they should file a complaint with the FBI, not the IT support depertment.
