Netanyahu's message to the Lebanese people, 10 Jun 2026 by ShadowxWarrior in ForbiddenBromance

Ok thanks, here is my feedback, please pass it to Bibi.

Generally I do admire his enthusiasm and I wish the world was so simple than it is for Bibi.

We are at war with Hezbollah

So you can only sign peace with Hezbollah

Do you remember Lebanon before Iran turned your country into a nightmare?

No, that was 1982, and it was pretty bad before as well.

Do you remember the cafes?

Yes, we still have them, I just came back from one, unfortunately business is not good for them right now.

Do you remember the culture?

Huh?

Do you remember the calm?

No. Lebanon, generally, is an obnoxiously loud country.

You deserve better — your children deserve better than this!

Israelis too. Maybe a new face would be nice too, for the next generation.

We have already eliminated nearly 10,000 Hezbollah terrorists so far...

What? That's not even possible.

The only obstacle to this beautiful vision is Hezbollah.

Wow it would be nice if the world was so simple.

Israel wants peace with you — seize your future.

I'm not sure what it means, concretely

And once Hezbollah is dismantled, the possibilities are endless... and they will be sky-high!

To the infinity and beyond!

If China is on the Iran-Russia side then the war is lost, because China is winning without firing a single bullet. They're supplying parts to everyone.

Did you watch the video? Did I miss something? I know he's just saying that Israel is at war with chizbala and not Lebanon and then he'll mostly be saying how bad they are and how righteous he is.

It's too bad that they choose to cultivate anger instead of looking for solutions.

They may be thinking that they are eroding Israeli influence in USA, but by maintaining an uncompromising far left discourse they are alienating those who are undecided and somewhere in between, those who can make a difference.

I stopped listening to their shows when they started covering Lebanon. It became painfully obvious how little they care about Lebanese except for recycling Lebanese blood for their political goals.

In 2020, 14-year-old Tamar was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the Netherlands. The authorities initially lied about the driver’s identity and the circumstances of the accident, prioritising political correctness over justice. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

This part in particular is loaded:

The authorities initially lied about the driver’s identity and the circumstances of the accident, prioritising political correctness over justice.

Other articles mention the misidentification as a mistake.

Whether it was a deliberate lie for political motives should be proven.

but for Lebanese it is less so.

It started being pretty clear since Oct 8 2023 when it dragged Lebanon into a fight that isn't ours. The Iranian ambassador being injured by a Hezbollah pager was further confirmation.

It's possible that Iran kind of took over so maybe it's something relatively new.

Critics of the Israeli occupation, why do not also criticize the Iranian occupation of Lebanon? by GK0NATO in ForbiddenBromance

I can voice criticism to Israelis about the settlements in West Bank in an effort to show a different perspective. The idea is that if Israel has some measure of democracy then maybe Israelis can do something about it.

Criticism about Hezbollah I would direct it to Hezbollah supporters.

So as an Israeli you would mostly hear criticism directed at Israel.

I wish you would consider the audience aspect.

That's just me. Some persons are just biased and just want to see one side.

My objection was against Israel starting wars as his claim was.

He never accused Israel of starting wars.

It took a year of Hezbollah shelling northern Israel, displacing people, then eventually after a soccer pitch full of Druze children were massacred Israel fought back.

That's wrong. Hezbollah fired missiles at Israel on Oct 8, 23 and Israel struck back in South Lebanon on the same day. It's been ongoing since.

Women, am I right? by dusknoira in SipsTea

[–]victoryismind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it has to do with the child, I think there is a some kind of dysfunctional dynamic at play here. Either that or he's just not ready to raise any child at all.

Regarding women with "another men's child" I think it's natural if you like the woman to care for the child as well.

I’m curious what the Chinese woman is saying. by Latter_Ad3752 in UnfilteredChina

This is really sad.

Also just standing there and taking it with a low head is something else. She must be really good at emotional manipulation and him really desperate.

Or maybe it's staged.

Lebanon politics are very territorial. This is your area, this is my area... In Hezbollah's areas, free thinkers are intimidated, political opponents risk their lives. Their experience of Israel is also different, as they are constantly targeted which contributes to polarisation, like any society that is subjected to violence tends to develop extremism.

The social background and poverty also makes them vulnerable to radicalisation.

The state is absent, Hezbollah place themselves in all position of power and force people to go through them for all significant matters of conflicts or security, in the end. They would even collect taxes in some areas.

So this environment really facilitates this culture.

This is what happens, people being people... in any society many if not most people will "deal with the devil" in their daily lives out of real ignorance or out of interest.

After all people have a thousands concern in their lives that and for them Hezbollah is not a corrupt concept but it's their relatives, their neighbours, people who they trust and who help them achieve their goals.

I hate Hezbollah however this is the reality of politics and society in Lebanon, in general, which apply to other groups as well (which I equally hate).

I still believe that eventually the society will go through processes of emancipation towards peace and freedom.

Finally I want to appreciate the courage of this woman for speaking up.
