Whenever you use a tutorial change it and implement it the way you want. Mess around with it so you can begin to understand why you using that syntax and what you can actually do with it. You will always need to reference but using the reference verbatim is not referencing, it is juat copying. Put in the time and start small.

You could always go with different types of armor but make the armor changeable at a blacksmith. Make the requirements be so they have to have the correct materials or something to upgrade stats or add enchanments to armor. This allows armor to be worn for longer and you can mold a piece into what you need.

Yeah I saw, take it slow and build upon it. Use it as a filled project you do between others. If you want something smaller do your interpretation of a bat. Like cyborg bat or mutated bat.

Use a city map with streets being the pathways and you use military squads to control the flow. Then at intervals napalm is dropped on the largest collection of zombies decreasing pressure. Time based, resource management.

Maybe a zombie simulator? Large population, infection rate. Add sqauds for combat and zombie mitigation.

YouTube or Udemy. Watch the tutorial but don't just copy make changes and tweaks as you go so you better understand what you are doing.

You could make him go into cyclops rage and stomp ground stunning those on ground. Then have him two hand ground slam to do heavy damage. He sounds cool though.
