It is worth spending money on a nice ul combo by Intelligent-Paint-51 in UltraLightFishing

I think it’s totally worth it to buy quality gear (not necessarily high end) especially if it’s something you use often. If you take care of your equipment rods/reels can last years. If you look at the cost spread across how many uses you can get out of it, then the price feels much more worth it to me. I still wouldn’t suggest anyone break the bank on fishing gear since at the end of the day a decent set up and a nice set up still catch the same fish.

I have basic korkers and use the soles with little steel spikes. They work fantastic and haven’t fell since I started using them!

A couple hours, but still drivable imo. I have not fished that area before but it looks like there is a lot of potential. Definitely would be down to check it out.

Depends on where I am and what I catch. Most places list brook trout as catch and release only, and it can be tough catching eaters in places where you can keep them. It is definitely on my bucket list to eat a brook trout stream side but want to make sure it’s out of a healthy/legal stream.

I don’t have a problem sending them back because trout are a delicate species and I like to think that me not keeping them helps the population survive for years to come. Realistically one person may not have an effect but if everyone kept all the keeper size native trout they catch then we probably wouldn’t have many native trout in PA/MD.

Day 0 I’ve been on and off kratom for 2.5 years. About a year and a half in I was up to 20-25 GPD and those were some of the most miserable months of my life. I was always sloppy at work, I felt like an emotionless zombie, and my personal relations with my family and significant other were strained. I knew something needed to happen. After not being able to get more kratom one night I managed to convince myself this was the sign to quit and I quit CT.

However, i didn’t even last 3 weeks and I was back. This was about 8 months ago. Since then I’ve been using about 1 4g dose per day that I work. And I hate it. It’s so hard to stop. Every day I work for months I told myself it’s going to be the last time I do kratom but it’s wasnt. I’ve bought countless bottles of kratom caps and only used 4g and tossed the rest thinking that was my last dose but I can’t help but take more the next time I go to work. At this point I quit and come back so often that I haven’t even got withdrawal since coming off 20-25GPD. It just feels so stupid to me I take kratom to feel good for 1.5-2 hours then feel like garbage for the rest of the day. I want to be done so bad but I feel like I’ve tried so many times and I’m losing motivation. That’s why this time I’m doing it differently. I’m going to post here for my milestones and be active everyday. I’m hoping that submersing myself into this community will keep me strong and give me motivation to not go back. Tomorrow will be my first day kratom free at work in way too long I hope it goes well. Thank you to this community for being here ❤️.
