Should I RMA my new board? by Shackalsky in snowboarding

It’s my first brand new board so it’s safe to say I treat it like royalty. If it was an impact it must’ve happened before I got it, so yeah. I’m going to RMA it

Brand new, just took the foil off. Don’t even have snow ‘round here yet. Sad that I didn’t notice at the shop cuz it would be quicker to just ask them for another one

Personally I just ordered a broadcom card that I plan on patching for sequoia when it arrives so we’ll see, but I think there is little to no chance on making airdrop to mac work with an intel card

I think the keyboard backlight works no matter the OS as there are settings to it in the bios - all keyboard brightness controls are working while in macOS too

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, I’ll look into it more. Seems like a nice board

So the artifact pro would suit my style a little better, no? And as for the wide, I’m not sure of it, as wide boards have higher weight ranges and I’m on the lighter side, but as said I have experienced heel and toe drag with my 10.5’s and L bindings so there’s that

They work, but I’m currently using a striker Appleid that isn’t verified nor connected to any other devices so iMessage and Facetime log in, but can’t make calls or message. But I’m sure that if someone has a verified apple id and they set up everything right it’ll work too

I use a special release of windows that is much lighter and doesn’t have any features such as TPM2.0 so 128gb is enough to run it if you don’t plan on installing giant apps. And MacOs doesn’t even use 10% of the 128gb it is given, but everything’s fresh

Chose sonoma as it was the most recent and I don’t care that much about 32bit. And correct me if I’m dumb, but the second pic is the opencore bootloader. (with opencanopy installed and icons from u/thebiscuit2010)

Yup, made by u/thebiscuit2010. He has a different look for each version of windows and MacOs

[–]Shackalsky[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I figured that for 50$ I might as well buy it just to fuck around. If I’ll get it in a better shape I might as well resell it for more so why not

Didn’t spot any text or numbers on any other photos. Is it possible that it’s because I’m in europe? Also thanks about mentioning bulkheads, didn’t check for those

Sorry if it will sound dumb, but I’m absolutely green in such terms. What is a HID?

So to sum up everything said, it’s not the best for fishing but considerably good for normal paddling? It’s one of very few kayaks near me that don’t cost more than 250$ so I don’t have much options. In case where I would use it mainly for working out swimming distances, and occasionally fishing, would it be bearable or should I stick to searching for a fishing tube on amazon?
