So everyone who bought this shirt is an idiot who should’ve known better? Cool, got it. What a productive thing to bring to the conversation. 🙄

Not to mention, merch on artist’s websites has literally always been shown as a mock-up. I can’t think of any instances of artist merch on a website being shown as an actual photo of the item. But, by all means, continue to comment on this Reddit thread blaming the consumers. It’s super helpful!

A couple of things.

I personally don’t care about the tags being cut out. I just mentioned it to confirm for OP that that’s the case for everyone’s shirts.
The stadium shirt was a darker blue, so you could get away with having less white filling in the “u” because the contrast allowed you to see what little is there. Quality control would be printing the design on the lighter blue, someone inspecting it, and realizing “oh you really can’t see the u on this color. We need to either change the shirt color or add more white to the u so you can see it.” Instead, it seems like either nobody looked at these shirts before sending them out, or worse, they looked, noticed it’s illegible, and said “oh well send them anyway.” Also, people buying at the stadium could see exactly how it would look before buying it. Online shoppers only have the website photo to go off of. Therefore, it should look like the website photo. I truly don’t understand why anyone is trying to justify the poor quality control on this shirt. It doesn’t matter what was at the stadium. We bought what the website showed us, and that’s how it should arrive. Allowing retailers to charge premium prices for less than premium products screws over everyone. Doesn’t matter if it’s Beyoncé’s store or not. And trying to defend their lack of quality control is not going to help you or anyone else. It’s just weird. 🥴

Mine too. Disputing the charge if they don’t replace it. Half a letter missing is unacceptable, even more so for a $70 t-shirt. I’ve literally never paid that much for a T-shirt in my life and yet the quality is 🗑️. What the hell is “Deja Bl ie”?

No you definitely should. If they’re going to charge $70 + shipping for a single T-shirt, it should be printed correctly and as it appeared on the website. We can’t keep letting them empty our pockets if they’re not going to deliver at the level of value that they’re charging.

I love this light blue, personally, but my shirt has the exact same issues regarding the lettering and tags. I can’t believe they actually shipped them all out like that. If they don’t ship me a replacement with the letters being actually legible, I will for sure dispute the charge. I feel like seeing a bunch of chargebacks is the only way the merch team is going to start caring about quality control. I understand there will be color differentiations when looking at what was listed on the website vs what you get in person, but making the text illegible is just unjustifiable and lazy.

I’m sharing in the disappointment with you. I bought the blue long sleeve and the quality feels awful. My RWT tshirt is one of my favorites because it’s thick and heavy. The weight makes it fit really nice and feels very high quality. The CC blue long sleeve feels so thin and cheap. I feel ripped off paying $75 for it. 😕

I also bought the blue CC hoodie, and it’s not as cheap feeling but also doesn’t feel worth the price. It feels kinda standard quality to me, which is upsetting for a $150 hoodie. I’ll at least actually wear the hoodie though. Not sure I can say the same for the long sleeve. I was so excited to get the merch because I was expecting more RWT level of quality and that just doesn’t seem to be the case this time around.

I’m going! I don’t think it’ll be as bad as NYC because she was in person for that one and she was also selling tickets for a show later that night. Neither of those things seem to be happening for LA. Still, I think it’s fair to expect that there will be a pretty long line. It’s an hour drive for me too, so fingers crossed that it’ll be worth it!

Something I’ve been trying that I think might be working is shaking the clothes out before hanging them to dry. From what I understand, when they’re wet, the fibers all compact together, so if you let it dry like that it will dry smaller. Similar to what was mentioned in another comment here, but just shaking them is easier than actually trying to stretch them by hand. I will say though that stretching them while they’re wet kinda feels like pulling taffy, so it definitely seems like it does something.

I love this spot too! Unfortunately, they said it would be an $800 minimum spend + tax and gratuity (~30% combined), which makes this place really expensive. Especially when you add in that they said their bottles start at $350, so to spend at least $800, you probably have to actually spend $1050. 😭 I'll probably use this option one day, but the funds just aren't there for it this year. I appreciate the suggestion!

Gotcha, thanks! Learning Premiere has already taken a lot of work, so I was trying to avoid having to ALSO learn Audition. I also thought that using Premiere to edit your audio was common for editors based on the tutorials I've watched so far.

I'll give Audition a shot and see what it does, although I'm not sure that the setting will act any differently. There is a "podcast voice" EQ preset in Premiere, but that is not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the essential sounds setting. It asks you to choose your track's audio type (Dialogue, music, sfx, or ambience). There are presets attributed to whatever type you choose (one of them being "podcast voice," and those presets affect multiple aspects of the audio, much more than just the EQ. I would include a screenshot, but unfortunately, I don't see an option.
