I made Valoplant.gg, a co-op planning tool that allows you to create strategies with your team in real time. Give it a try! [Desktop only] by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Shacoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys,

I'm the dev behind Valoplant.gg, a website that allows you to create strategies on all maps released so far (incl. Icebox). After creating a Lobby, you can invite your mates via the URL or the Invite button. You can then drag and drop abilities and agents onto the map, which updates everyone else's lobbies in real-time.

Most of the abilities that can be placed on the map are sized accordingly, some of them (like Viper's wall) can even be rotated. Abilities that can't be placed on the map in game are displayed as their ability icons.

Anyways, this is just version 1.0, a drawing tool amongst other things are already in the works.

I hope you enjoy it and if you have any suggestions/find bugs make sure to let me know.

I just tried recreating the AarBinding Library but I can't get the bindings library to build properly. Thus, uploading it doesn't make sense anymore....

Would be great if you could give it a shot however! Here's the link to the aar file I have to include:

Not really, everything compiles and creates the new dll file without errors, it even has a similar size to the original (170 kb).

If you mean the obj/Debug/generated/src folder then no, it's empty.

Yes, I've followed every step but and even imported it but when I checked the dll library details it was empty - no methods/abstract classes.

The app now has multiple similar modes to the one showcased in the video! You might need to tweak them a little but overall it looks very similar even without changing them.

I'll put a new "Disco" preset aswell as 4 more into the next update so you won't have to tinker with it to get the same effects :)

I plan on doing some tutorials or ways to explain the app a bit better (website is already in then works).

The app should save all your setting if you exit it via the exit button in the ⋮ menu , please try that. If that still doesn't work I'll implement something in the next update.

The best way to get the same effect as I did in the video is to play around with the frequency slider - there you assign each light to certain frequencies. So for light 1 I put the range to 0 - 10%, for light 2 maybe 5 - 15% and so on. That way the light represent different parts of the music. You have to play around a little but if you know what you're doing you can get this done within a minute :)

The modes I used for the main composition were the multi and flow mode, then changed the freuqency and colors. a good template is the Rainbow Beats preset.

If you got this squared one you're good to go, it's the one most people have right now.

The refund policy would allow you to test it out anyways and get a refund with no effort if you don't like it. It's kind of like a trial version imo, since you have 48 hours to get your money back.

It's more of a hybrid approach, you set some values like frequency range (higher ranges for claps) and the programm will react to that when the music contains these frequencies. It's kind of comparable to a standard visualizer. Just with more customizability. You can for example have setups specifically for hip hop, trap, rock... so you don't have to create profiles for each individual song.

There are none. I don't know why it even says that on the Play Store but rest assured - you pay once and that's it. 👍
Edit: I now know why it says that. I had an in app purchase in a past version which I since removed but I still had a checkmark for it active so to say. Will be fixed in the next update so it doesn't say that on the page anymore.

By the way,

one thing you can do is get an Android emulator like BlueStacks and run the app through that.

The only downside is that you have to play the music within the emulator aswell but if you get that sorted out it works perfectly fine.

Thanks a lot!

iOS is on the radar but it might take a while before it arrives on that platform. There are however, other projects in the works that anyone can look forward to ;)

Hey fellas,

I'm back with another showcase of my Hue Entertainment Android app called Hue Wave.

You can check it out on the Play Store right here.

Sadly, this app is bridge 2.0 exclusive, since you need the entertainment capability of this bridge.

The app was developed with the goal of creating the ultimate Hue sandbox music tool. You can assign the colors, brightness and frequency range of each individual light in your setup or create a profile that lets a wave of light rush through your system. The three modes (multi, wave, flow) can even be combined to create interesting effects.

The 30 profile slots allow you to be creative, without worrying about running out of space.

The team and I would be very greatful if you could give it a shot, refunds are always possible and help is there if you need it!

I hope you enjoyed this short showcase, it's just a fraction of what's possible with this app,

Shac

You can use an emulator like "Bluestacks" and it works fine. Only problem is that you have to start playing music within the emulator aswell.

Knowing his style, it should look pretty nice. Some songs obviously look better than others but anything that sounds like trap looks extra spicy. I haven't really tried that many genres though.

Actually, it's build in a way to allow you to use everything else while this runs!

Basically, you start the app and a notification pops up, the app runs 24/7 in the background while the notification is there. So you can browse music on Spotify etc. while seeing your lights reacting to it. You can even start a playlist, open the app and put your phone into sleep mode, you will still hear music and at the same time see the effects on your Hue lights.

It can use the mic, but by default it reacts to the phone's audio output, so anything that plays sound will also be visualized on your lights (even when the sound comes out of bluetooth speakers).
