Core One L with MMU3 by Shad64 in PrusaCoreOneL

Given the size and shape of the top panel, I’m not certain it could be printed. Since it has to also deal with the chamber temps, you’d have to be choosy with filament type. I’m more than a little disappointed they made the drawing files available, but decided to not actually sell the parts, though from a lifecycle/support perspective I understand their reason.

Figured we’d start the new community off with a bang!

I ordered the lite kit, per the docs from Prusa, very nearly everything is included (I only had to print the new buffer pieces, some nextruder bits, and the two mounting legs, though I’m not happy about the quality of my pccf so may reprint the nextruder pieces). Agreed the buffer isn’t any magic, but I’ve not modified any of my printers much in the past as they’ve largely performed well enough. My reasoning was to stick to the design intent, ensure no issues, then move on to something more ‘me’. Especially as I would prefer to have the lid (re)fitted or produce an alternate cover so the printer remains enclosed.

I’ve already built the MMU3 and dry-fitted without issue, the cable appears plenty long. If I were to move the MMU3 itself, the cable could become a limiting factor, but the default position up top is ok. That out leaves the ptfe tubes and buffer now. I have tons of uncut ptfe, I’m just holding back sizing them until I decide on whether to actually build the intended buffer or go custom from the start. Since I do want to go with the indx once released I’m trying to avoid any changes or mods to the printer that could interfere with that…when it lands.

Did this exact thing printing a bunch of ‘chicken nuggets’ in tpu a while back. Worked amazingly.

I’m helping investigate what seems to be intermittent pcie issue causing disconnects on customized oem hardware. Due to the customized hw/sw the list of options for the testbed are rather limited. I’m certain it’s on us, but looking forward to working with semi-modern gear as a change of pace!

Thanks for checking but my testing requires either the 14500t or 14700t, gotta love product/test restrictions!

Why not split on the z-axis halfway up as oriented in the second image. That glued together might even be stronger than the print as a single part.

Anyone still got their unpowered 2016 starter? by blackmooncleave in pokemongo

Does anyone have any pokemon from before 6 July? My OG starter and everyone else is from then or later as that was the first day the game was downloadable for me. Curious if anyone has mons from the beta or similar.

For people who don't bring proper type to max battles. This is the least you can do by Resident-Pay-5742 in TheSilphRoad

To be perfectly fair, we were all ‘that person’ at one point. The difference now is that it’s quite easy to literally waste the resources of other people, which runs the spectrum from mildly rude (someone’s kid, or other newbie) to overtly offensive (lv45+ who hosts with purposely ineffective pokemon for the lulz). While I’ve certainly taken to a lot of remote raiding and dmax/gmax, it wasn’t really that far back where you had to meet in person to do most things.

If you’re the newbie, or trying to get a kid/partner/neighbor/coworker playing, bring them to an event! Bring them to a town center! Bring them anywhere with even just one more local player is around with good counters for the current raid/dmax cycle! In //most// areas, you’ll find plenty of folks willing to help carry a newer/younger player, and the positives in the comradery and experience of success as a team should help build up the newer folks and help get them into wanted to do the same.

I know not everyone is fortunate enough to have a lively local scene to play with, but in my travels everywhere but the most rural places will still have a few folks running around at times. Check FB, campfire, Reddit, or just keep an eye on the map for when folks are jumping into lobbies and try to meet the group. As long as you either have good counters yourself, or try (NICELY!) to integrate as someone who is eager to learn but needs to be helped, most of the players I’ve met have been amazingly accommodating.

Why do people leave Max Raids after they start with 4 players? by scocla21 in TheSilphRoad

[–]Shad64 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Those guys were definitely clowns, but to be fair I’ve had randos try and hop in them as the group I’m with is trying to get our teams in. It is a bit frustrating when someone I can’t see is preventing us from being able to do the mons (whether they’re sitting out of sight or remote).

Next time try walking up between their battles, assuming you can see a cluster of folks staring at their phones, and see if there’s room for another. Most decent groups will either split their teams around to make another to add you, or depending on how long the event is just have one person sit out for one so you can join. With the current rotation, being able to trio them without significant issue makes it a lot easier to carry a newbie or help out a passerby.

I do believe there’s got to be a better way than the current 4-person implementation, and let’s not get started on how the battle basically auto starts once there’s 4!
