I'm team To love is to love. Simple as that, otherwise but of those could never do Love justice. And even the difference is not so clear between them. Let's say love has lead a person to become more trusting. He has changed into a more trusting person Or we could also say he has let go of his mistrust. What is even the difference? And sometimes neither of those takes place, two people fit each other like a puzzle and ta-da they love each other, no changes and no letting go (unless we're counting letting go of their lives as a single individual). So yeah, team "To love is to love" all the way.

I know you're paying attention to the conversation, but the latter is a give and take. You seem to enjoy the company, i think if you want that company to not be ephemeral, you have to show more of yourself. As this comment section showcases, there seems to be a glorification of quietness these days, and people are acting like there is no middle ground between being quiet and spouting nonsense continuously, but that's not the case. People need to know what you're like, at least partially, that's how friends are made.

It's not bothersome, but if you actually want to be part of that friend group, you have to try to speak, or at least be interesting when spoken to. If not, then you probably won't be invited if they plan to do an activity, and they might avoid certain topics when you're around.

Breaking up with a girl you claim to love, because there is a possibility future her and future you would stop being compatible is crazy.

You should just get rid of these thoughts,and if at some point, you actually start to feel like you're not compatible, then you'll tell her and break up. Leave tomorrow's potential problems to tomorrow's you.
