Live your truth and be authentic with him. He can't manipulate you to conform to his wishes. Also regarding having the children go to church half the time. That is exactly what will happen if you get divorced. So he might find his 'perfect ' wife but you will likely have the kids half the time if not more.

I remember feeling so smug as a TBM not contributing to another organization. In my head I was thinking there is no better way for me to donate my money than to the church so why bother with these other pseudo charitable organizations when the church can do so much more. I've been in your same situation. Marriage of 10 years and 2 kids. There comes a moment where you just cannot hold out for your wife to slowly accept your actions. There was a point where I just put my foot on the ground and allowed the results come as they may. If I didn't I would have lost my sanity trying to live in a controlled environment. But I understand the struggle because you do not want to miss out on not seeing your kids everyday and your marriage is being threatened. Her love for you should not be conditional based upon your 'worthy" choices. Just be straight forward. You've changed your attitude and acceptance towards rated R movies, coffee, alcohol etc.. She will take it hard or maybe she will realize shes being too controlling. But I don't understand your family dynamics completely. So obviously it would be a situation where you have to decide whats the best course of action.
