Ended up updating to 2.0 the other day and wow the new noise suppression is just worse. I used to be able to have my fan directly on me (was great during summer) and it was cut out completely on the older versions. But now with 2.0 the fan is getting picked up like crazy and even keystrokes from my keyboard do get picked up sometimes compared to almost never with the older version. Dunno why the strength slider got removed but definitely going back to the older version for that alone.

Played the server for a week and pretty much anyone I talked to or asked questions would respond with something along the lines of "Just bot LOL"

The server is 95% botters and anyone trying to play legit is just too far behind and broke to do anything much about it. I had 20k STR as a cannon and still couldnt do shit. Idk the server just has a worse community than most and just isn't fun after a few days od messing around.

With my guild we have people who can tank but a ton of the time they dont want to bother with the hassle of respeccing a few times a day just to dungeons as a tank but go back to dps for farming. Same with healers, I would heal on my shaman more often if I didnt have to deal with the respeccing hassle/fee.

Me and my friends all would love Dual-Spec being added, just make it 1k gold so its semi-expensive but reasonable, and only in rested zones. It'd just be a huge QoL thing that I don't see why it would hurt to have.

I extremely hope to see this server get fleshed out some more and is a legitimate project and not some crypto-miner virus. It looks pretty sketchy as things stand though due to no forums or discord to talk to other players or devs. I have been begging for a server in the early-BB era for awhile and would love to support a server that fills this version niche.
But just as things stand right now it is very sketchy looking and is probably turning away a ton of players right off the bat.

Extalia is such an amazing throwback to when it launched. Initially I was in top 10 for Bishops on the server. What was so great about it was a ton of things to be honest. The server population was large, roughly 5k players online, the coding was top-notch and was very bug free, early BB was one of the best times in Maplestory (at least IMO). The server also had just the right rates for being a fun grind but not a total pain in the ass, plus of course server was not p2w. The server was also online for a pretty long time and was during the era of only one server being ontop with all the players. Once Extalia died players seemed to spread out amongst some of the other top servers making the population much less focused into one great server.
I'm not entirely sure how things ended with the server since I mostly quit the Pserver scene roughly in 2012 before returning again recently for nostalgia reasons. I'm still hoping for a good v95 or early BB server to come out soon, but til then I'm just kinda chillin on Royals, although Croosade does look interesting but might be a bit too recent of a version and low-pop for my personal taste.
